As the battles continue on The Voice, it makes it so hard to see any of the singers go home and this week was no different.

Two singers, one song, one stage...let the fighting begin...again!

Christina brings her team to the ring first as she puts the youngest singer in the competition, Raquel Castro, up against the gritty and free-spirited California girl, Julia Eason. Having two young competitors battling it out, Christina wanted some fresh energy on the stage, so her song choice for them is "Only Girl In The World" by Rihanna.

The girls take to the stage to see who would be the only girl left standing. Raquel starts out the battle and after a slower start, she works out the song. When Julia gets her chance, she seems more timid and shy. I feel she may have a better tone than Raquel, but this song is more suited for Raquel's voice and Raquel owned that stage for this performance.

After many praises for Raquel from the other coaches, Christina said she thought Julia was cleaner than Raquel, but that Raquel brought a lot to the stage and she had to go with her.

The youngest singer in the competition moves on to join Beverly McClellan and Frenchie Davis on Team Christina for the live shows.

Team Blake takes the stage next, as he pits the preacher's daughter with the bold voice, Serabee, versus the singer-songwriter with the quiet side, Dia Frampton. Blake chooses "Can't Hurry Love" by The Supremes for these two very different performers to sing.

Dia gets the battle started with her quiet, soulful way of singing. A very good start to the song and then comes Serabee with her very preachy, churchlike singing abilities. This whole performance was just awkward because Serabee was over-the-top and boisterous, while Dia was quiet and more reserved, but with a powerful voice.

Time for Blake to choose and he even states that Dia looked uneasy up there and he doesn't blame her. Even with the odd pairing and being overpowered by Serabee during the performance, Blake chooses Dia as his third member to move on to the live shows. Dia joins Jared Blake and Patrick Thomas on Team Blake.

Up next, Team Adam. This battle features the pre-med student with dreams of musical stardom, Devon Barley, versus the traveling Indie musician, Rebecca Loebe. Adam chooses "Creep" by Radiohead, because it has a cool, dark, ominous feeling to it and they are the complete opposite of that.

Rebecca goes into this battle with an advantage, seeming this is one of her favorite songs and Devon, well he doesn't seem to know the song and I'm in the same boat he is in. I may not have known the song going into this battle, but after it, they make me want to listen to it more and more. These two put on an amazing battle. They had a great duet while hitting some great notes. Rebecca starts out owning the stage and song a little more than Devon, but during the chorus he showed why he was up on that stage.

They worked very well together, but of course only one of them can move on to the live shows. After being mad at himself for choosing these two to battle it out, Adam decides to go based on that performance alone and chooses Devon to join Casey Weston and Javier Colon to represent Team Adam in the live shows.

Cee Lo puts the last battle of the night on the stage, as he chooses the international online sensation with the golden voice, Kelsey Rey, to go up against the country music act from California, sisters Taylor and Tori Thompson. They will be singing "Unwritten" by Natasha Bedingfield.

This is another one of those battles that puts a duo up against a single person, but who will come out on top this time. In rehearsals, the Thompson sisters struggled with the song and trying to get in harmony with each other, a disadvantage for a duo.

Let the battle begin! Kelsey starts it out and she seems to be more laid back then we have seen in other performances. Taylor and Tori get their chance and they take front and center on that stage. I feel they had more presence on the stage and were stronger, which is shocking because that is what Kelsey is more known for. They did have some cute melodies together and it felt more like a trio at times, than a battle.

Even though Kelsey is a more seasoned singer, Cee Lo couldn't get past the innocence of Taylor and Tori and feels there is something charming about them. So, he went with Taylor and Tori Thompson, as they join Vicci Martinez and Nakia on Team Cee Lo for the live shows.

One more week of battles then let the live shows begin.
