It's been about five minutes in The Real World house and already, Heather and Dustin seem to be smitten with each other. Given that they're in Sin City, I have a feeling this relationship isn't going to be smooth sailing... especially when Dustin's secrets start coming out. Meanwhile, Nany is about to give up a six year relationship for Adam, a ticking time bomb waiting to go off.

 

That time bomb decides to explode at the club Vanity, when the roomies head out for a night of partying. He gets out of control while drinking and when the bouncers try to calm him down and tell him to put down a bottle, he smashes it on the floor. Bad move. He's dragged out of the club and escorted back to his room by security, then is unable to be controlled by Michael, Nany, or anyone else!

 

Adam's action come back to haunt him when the security manager of the Hard Rock asks to see him. He tries to sweet talk his way out of it but I would think that a security manager in Vegas isn't going to be won over by his behavior. Adam heads back to his room, unremorseful, with a first and final warning. Raise your hand if you have a feeling this isn't the last we've seen of the security manager.

 

We learn more about Michael in this episode and realize what a tough upbringing he had. Both of his parents went to jail when he was young and he lived with his grandmother. When his father got out, he took Michael to live with him but they fought so much that police told him it was no longer safe for him to be there. Michael moved out to live with friends and has been responsible for himself ever since. It's definitely surprising to hear and I'm thankful Leroy took the time to get to know him so that his story could be shared.

 

At the casino a few nights later, Leroy convinces Adam to make a sizable bet at the roulette table... basically, everything he has. Thank god, he bets on red and it pays off. He doubles his money. Now walk away, kid. Walk away.

 

The roomies decide to play a game of Truth or Dare, which cannot end well. Everyone plays except for Dustin who is fast asleep. Heather admits to liking Dustin, Leroy is dared to suck Naomi's toe, Adam gives Naomi a lap dance, Michael does jumping jacks in his boxers, Leroy and Naomi make out, and the girls do a triple kiss.

 

Dustin wakes up to find out that the guys dared Heather to kiss Michael and he is not too pleased.  You would think that these two were in some long-term, committed relationship.  Michael tries to dismiss it as a game and tells Dustin to get over it, which was a bad idea.  Even though it seems like he's talking sense, Dustin doesn't see it that way.  These people have only known each other a few days!

 

When Michael says that he liked kissing Heather, that's the breaking point for Dustin.  He drags his stuff into the diary room and sleeps in there, closing it out to the camera with, "It's going to be a long three months, people.  It's going to be a long three months."

 

The Real World: Las Vegas airs Wednesdays at 10/9c on MTV.
