Tonight's round of American Idol featured the top 12 boys and their last attempt to make it into the coveted Top 12. After these performances on American Idol, only 5 of the guys will continue on. Something new in the voting this season is the addition of online voting. Steven was also given a "swearing stick" at the beginning of the show. That stick had the basic American Idol logo on it that is placed over the person mouths when they swear.

 

Clint Jun Gamboa - "Superstitious"
Steven Tyler: Strong. Brilliant
Jennifer Lopez: Good. "Once that nervousness is all gone everything will be good." Randy Jackson: No person singing karaoke in the world has those vocals.

 

Jovany Barreto - "I'll Be"
Steven: "Holy Shipyards"
Jennifer: She was happy with this performance. She believed that people truly saw him for the first time.

Randy: He didn't quite get it. He needs to bring something new to the songs.

 

Jordan Dorsey - "O.M.G"
Steven: Not his favorite
Jennifer: Not right for his talent
Randy: It was pitchy. This is not a singer's song.

 

Tim Halperin - "Street Corner Symphony"
Steven: Song didn't do him justice. He was let down.
Jennifer: Not his strength. It was still good though.
Randy: He didn't bring anything different to the song.

 

Brett Loewenstern - "Light My Fire"
Steven: "You were on fire"
Jennifer: There was more hair tossing than Jennifer and Beyoncé combined.
Randy: Had someone counting the hair tosses, 14 total. Vocally pitchy at beginning.

 

James Durbin - "You've Got Another Thing Coming"
Steven: (used his swear stick) Loved that he is over the top
Jennifer: Loves the way he performs
Randy: "This is how you do it"

 

Robbie Rosen - "In the Arms of an Angel"
Steven: That was a beautiful thing
Jennifer: He is a very special person who is able to tell a story through a song. "A very special singer."

Randy: Didn't think this was the best performance. (He was booed at that comment from audience).

 

Scotty McCreery - "Letters from Home"
Steven: Couldn't have picked a better song.
Jennifer: He is born to sing country music.
Randy: He is true throw back country guy. He is a big fan of the lowness in Scotty's voice.

Stefano Langone - "Just the Way You Are"
Steven: Loved it.
Jennifer: So consistent. There is nothing awkward about him on that stage.
Randy: This kid could be on the radio right now.

 

Paul McDonald - "Maggie May"
Steven: Loves his character.
Jennifer: His smile lights up the whole place. Loves when someone smiles while singing.

Randy: Unique and different from anything on Idol before. He is quirky.

 

Jacob Lusk - "A House is not a Home"
Steven: Unbelievable. Honored to be in his presence.
Jennifer: He makes her happy. Luther would be proud.
Randy: Nothing he can't sing. So proud to have him on Idol.

 

Casey Abrams - "I Put a Spell on You"
Steven: That was out of your mind, unreal. "As good as it gets."
Jennifer: "You're sexy Casey"
Randy: "So different, so unique. I applaud it. More, more, more!"
