The Fashion Show: Ultimate Collection

"Femme Fatale"

On this week's episode of The Fashion Show: Ultimate Collection - after Mike quit the heat of the competition last week, things became a bit complicated. Cesar, the winner of the first competition, volunteered to switch over to the House of Emerald. And unfortunately for The House of Nami, Calvin became their burden.

Nami's morale is low and Emerald's morale is obviously resting heavily on Cesar's shoulders.

The designers travel to Brooklyn to meet Iman, who informs them that their next challenge is to design a nightlife look inspired by the sexy, mysterious and dangerous Femme Fatale. Oh, yeah, and by the way - the fashion show will be in 24 hours.

The designers immediately collaborate to put their concept boards together for Isaac's review. Emerald's designers, who are obviously relying on Cesar, choose to go for a more gothic, vampire-inspired look. The House of Nami's creative concept focuses on the dark side of a 1940's temptress.

The next morning the designers congregate to prepare for the show. Joining the judge's panel in the audience is modern-day femme fatale, fashionista Dita Von Teese. First to hit the runway is the House of Emerald. Not even Cesar's overly theatrical dress is impressive in the worst way. As the House of Nami's designs hit the stage they instantly prove to have the stronger, more cohesive collection.

Two consecutive wins for the House of Nami becomes three and Eduardo nabs his second victory for having the overall best design. Unfortunately for him, the price of winning does not come cheap. He must choose one person from Nami who he feels is not worthy to stay in the competition - predictably, Calvin is chosen to face the judges along with the House of Emerald.

On the runway, the judges don't have many good things to say about anyone's designs. They also take the opportunity to make a point: even with Cesar on their side & Calvin's drama, Emerald is still the weakest team.

Though she tried to be true to herself in her design, Tamara is out of fashion. Not too surprising after hearing what the judges had to say about her design, but what was surprising was what followed her exit from the runway. Calvin showed us all that he has a heart by tearing up and asking if he could go instead of her. Not to mention, the unsympathetic tone in Isaac's voice was perfection.
