Leaving first is never easy, but somebody has to do it. Last night, it was time for the first couple to say goodbye to season 11 of Dancing With The Stars. Going into things, it looks like Margaret, The Situation, and The Hoff are in trouble but before any results are revealed, Santana hits the stage, performing "Oye Como Va" while the pros shake it on the dance floor!

 

The four lowest scoring couples hit the floor but it's a sigh of relief for Michael and Chelsea - they're immediately sent back to safety. Margaret and Louie are also safe and by the look on her face, she's shocked to still be hanging around to dance another week.

 

Adam Corolla killed some time, riding around on a unicycle in front of a green screen and teaching us the origins of dance from around the world and Daughtry performed their new hit "September" (how this guy lost Idol is still beyond me).

 

More results! Jennifer and Derek are safe, along with Rick and Cheryl. Audrina and Tony will be back next week and so will Florence and Corky. Carol Brady is pumped! No sooner had she just told Brooke that she can't leave in the first week that she found out she's not going anywhere.

 

Santana hit the stage two more times throughout the night, performing "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" first with India. Arie and then, "Photograph" with Daughtry.

 

The pros are interviewed about the pressure of making it past the first week... dancers like Louie, Mark, and Kym all know what it's like to be cut first. At this point, 11 seasons in, it's gotta be hard not to take it a little personally. Fans must be voting, not only for celebrities, but for the dancers that they've grown to love, too.

 

Brandy overreacts with shock when she finds out that she and Max will be returning, while Bristol and Mark bring the appropriate amount of excitement. Kurt and Anna and The Situation and Karina survive t his week's elimination, which leaves David and Kym and

Kyle and Lacey to find out which one of them will head home. It's pretty surprising, considering Hoff's following and Kyle's energetic, impressive performance on Monday.

 

The first couple to leave Dancing With The Stars is David and Kym. Do you think the right couple was eliminated?
