Big Brother Season 12

by Gina Scarpa

For all your East Coasters out there, thanks to football, if you wanted to know who left the Big Brother house last night, you had to wait up until 1:37am for the episode to air. Oh, West Coasters, I'm jealous. As for me, I went to bed and woke up nice and early to find out what went down... even though I think I already know the answer.

We pick things up at the end of the Veto ceremony and Hayden is not thrilled to be on the block, understandably. He and Enzo have a mission to get Britney out next week but Lane wants to bring her to the end because he feels he has the best chance of beating her. I have never heard anything more stupid in my life.

Knowing that he's in major trouble, Ragan begins campaigning hard, promising to take Britney to the final two and offering great points to keep him in the house. He heads next to Lane, saying that he's going to need to make a big, bold move or there is no way he'll ever win this game. Another strong point.

It's finally time to catch a glimpse of what's been going on in the jury house (besides a whole lot of dysfunction). First off is the most awkward, screechy conversation ever to take place on Big Brother between Rachel and Kathy, after her eviction. Next up is Matt's arrival and it seems that he and the girls have formed a small truce for the time being - with a few jabs at each other here and there. Brendon's arrival leaves Rachel speechless. Yeah, it's possible.

Matt admits to everyone that he lied about his wife's disease and that truce between everyone quickly crumbles. Kathy goes off, swearing at him and walking away from him, which is fair because she battled cancer for 10 years.

Back at the Big Brother house, Ragan and Hayden make their speeches to stay in the house. Ragan dedicates his game to his dad, who passed away six years ago, and then thanks everyone for a great time in the house. Hayden says how lucky he is to be there, tells Ragan what respect he has for him, and asks the others to keep him there.

Unanimously, my favorite player this season (Ragan) goes walking out the door to the jury house.

This next HOH competition will forever affect the outcome of the game.  I'm sure I don't need to tell you that the stakes are high.  Christmas has come early to the Big Brother house and the three players will have to decorate their Christmas tree.  Their ornaments are on the other side of a fence so decorating will be a little bit difficult.  Unfortunately, this is going to take a while so we're going to have to wait to find out the outcome...

Find out who becomes the next HOH on Big Brother, Sunday night at 8/7c on CBS.
