Last night, on The Real World: New Orleans, Ryan's bizarre, inconsiderate behavior continues to frustrate his roommates. McKenzie suggests a Roomie Intervention but the others warn against it, feeling that it will seriously set him off. Preston, who finally decides to make an appearance in an episode after a three week absence, tries to convince Ryan to sit down but of course, he doesn't want to. Eric tag teams his way into this match, feeling that he's the only one that can talk to him rationally, and relays all of the thoughts of the rest of the house to him.

 

Ryan's brother and cousin come to visit and it's hard to believe that there are more people in this world like Ryan - but there are! After a night out at the bar, Eric brings home a girl and climbs in bed with her. Things are going well until Ryan jumps in bed with her, begging for her friend's number, and ruining the mood. Eric's girl decides to leave and now he's pissed.

 

Eric's mood worsens with the behavior of Ryan's family, who manage to forget where they parked the car and got a parking ticket. Yeah, Mr. Calm, Cool, and Collected is about two seconds away from exploding.

 

After yet another night of partying, Ryan stays out late and finds himself locked out of the house. He hops the fence and lets himself in, then wakes everyone up screaming at them, calling them names, and starting a whole lot of drama. That becomes the last straw for Eric, who hops out of bed and gets right in his face. Just when you think Ryan is going to get a long deserved punch in the face, Eric backs up and heads back to bed.

 

Preston's friend from Boston is visiting New Orleans and he's able to open up about his new relationship with Marty. He really cares about him but he has a very difficult time opening up and trusting people. She convinces him to give people a chance instead of building up walls. He takes her words to heart and makes things official with Marty - they're a couple!

 

The roomies decide to all attend a meeting about prescription drugs, where Ryan shows up with a beer in hand and spends time playing tic-tac-toe with himself instead of listening. Is anyone else creeped out completely besides me and Jemmye? At home, everyone tries to sit him down and talk to him but of course, he freaks out and once again, Eric tries to talk him down.

 

The rational conversation quickly turns into chaos, as everyone gangs up on him for all the things he's done to everyone and unanimously vote him out of the house.  As he cries, I actually start to feel a little bad for him but I remind myself that he brought all of this upon himself.  Ryan packs his stuff and "kicks rocks", as Preston so eloquently put it.

 

The Real World: New Orleans airs Wednesdays at 10/9c on MTV.
