Big Brother Season 12

by Sandhurst Miggins

Last time on Big Brother, Brenden's nominations had the Brigade on edge. Though Brenden reassures Lane that he is not the target for the week, Lane still wants to win the Veto competition to guarantee that Ragan goes home. Ragan, on the other hand, knows that it is entirely up to him to save himself in the veto competition because everyone else will be playing to keep the nominations the same.

For the POV competition Brenden chooses Enzo, Ragan picks Kathy and Lane chooses Hayden. The competition is hosted by the Big Brother Zingbot and it turns out to be another mental challenge. Competitors must take puzzle pieces from one end of a thin balance beam to the next end, where they must assemble 4 puzzles while standing on a rotating platform. Ragan basically owns this chalenge as he becomes the first challenger to finish all four puzzles. Though Brendon's strategy is to basically copy Ragan's puzzle is left in the dust to think about who he was now going to have to replace Ragan with.

With Ragan winning the VETO, everyone is on edge now. Who does Brendon put up? You would think that Hayden and Enzo would be a little more concerned seeing that 2 brigade members could be possibly be going up, right? Nope! They actually are starting to like the idea since they believe if Brendon puts up Matt then maybe it's just time to turn this foursome into a two some. Hayden confesses that Matt is a tough competitor who wins challenges and his position with the brigade is made even worse due to the fact that he would have jury votes in Ragan Britney and Kathy. Which is more than they can say for themselves.

Back in the HOH room Brendon walks in to find Pandora's box. The choice, open the box and spend 24 hours in paradise, possibly with another person, cue the video screen and an image of Rachel flicking and tossing her extensions all over the place comes across the tv. What do you think Brenden is going to do? DUH!! Brenden opens Pandora's box and through a secret door is whisked away to a beautiful mansion. Just as he leaves there is a ring of the doorbell. Who's there? Rachel! "I'm back, bitches!" To the houseguests dismay Rachel bursts into the house ready to spit fire.

Instantly Rachel and Ragan begin to argue, with Rachel attacking Ragan's integrity and he her pink extensions. This leads Rachel to make one of the most homophobic comments ever said on tv "Do you have to be the biggest bitch because you're gay?"

The fight that ensues between Ragan and Rachel is too explosive to be written. Rachel completely makes a fool of herself while forcing Ragan to put her in her place. I have to admit I was not the biggest Ragan fan in the beginning, I too don't like to see floaters make it too far in this game but he really showed what he was made off against Rachel's tirade. Rachel I have to say really deserved what she got from Ragan and quite frankly I think she didn't expect him to stand up to her the way he did. Just another bad judgment call on her part.

Anyway as Rachel's time draws to a close, she leaves one message for Brendon in the form of pretzels in the HOH room. She writes Matt, telling Brendon through salty goodness who he should put in place of Ragan. A decision that Brendon took to heart and still playing as if Rachel was in the game, Brendon did just that. Now Matt is on the chopping block along side his fellow Brigade member Lane, buying his time until he can again shake the house up with his Diamond Power of Veto. Tune in to CBS tomorrow night to find out who becomes the second member of the Jury.
