This season, on The Real World: New Orleans, Preston may be the only openly gay man in the house but it seems he won't be satisfied until he's joined by Ryan, the hairdresser. The cuddling between the two has sparked debates among fans over Ryan's sexuality and has even ended up on E!'s The Soup. Today, we spoke to Preston in an exclusive interview about his roommates, the drama, his aspirations, and his reaction to seeing himself on tv.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Have you watched past seasons of The Real World? What made you want to try out?
A. Preston: I actually hadn't watched that many of the past seasons. Of course, everyone has seen an episode or two of every season. It's quite an eye opening experience. The Real World is the grand daddy of all reality television. It all started with The Real World.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What was your reaction when you found out this season would take place in New Orleans?
A. Preston: At first, I was apprehensive. I started to read more and more about it and then I got really excited.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Who was the first person that you bonded with?
A. Preston: I think you all have seen that it was Jemmye. She's absolutely wild but she's also still really down to earth.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Did you feel like there was a lot of drama in the house?
A. Preston: I mean, when I lived in the house, I didn't believe there was that much drama. Taking a step back, I was like, "Wow! I can't believe all those things went down!"

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What is the deal with Ryan and the cuddling?
A. Preston: I think what you're seeing is me trying to flip him. That's part of the whole process when you're trying to flip a straight man. You try to get them to cuddle, you flirt. Once he cuddles, it's all uphill from there... or downhill, I should say!

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Did you know that the clip of you two cuddling while he put the blow dryer on you made it onto The Soup?
A. Preston: I know! I missed it every single time!

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What was the reaction of your friends and family to you being on The Real World?
A. Preston: All my friends are extremely supportive. They love that I'm on the show. It's like them watching what I was doing. It's not scripted. It's really me. Some of my family members were upset with it, saying I was carrying dirty laundry.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: How important was it to you that you remain true to yourself when you were on camera?
A. Preston: I found that to be extremely important! The best thing I have going for myself is my personality. It would've been a complete disservice to the viewers and myself if I acted like anyone else?

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What are your big aspirations in life? Do you want to be in the entertainment industry?
A. Preston: That's absolutely what I want to do! I want to be a television personality. Oprah is leaving her show. If anyone needs anyone to take over for Oprah, I'll do it. I'll make that sacrifice!

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Would you ever want to do one of the challenges on MTV?
A. Preston: Ohhh... the challenges. What do I have to say about the challenges? Let's put it this way. I'm a bit squirrelly. You will not find my squirelly ass on there.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What's it been like to watch yourself on tv?
A. Preston: Oh my God! It's so painful! It's definitely hard to watch yourself!

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Are there people that you'll stay friends with for a long time?
A. Preston: Absolutely! I'll be friends forever with Ashlee, Knight, and Jemmye... everyone, pretty much.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Any final words?
