Salvatore Copoola and Siobhan Allgood from Hell's Kitchen Season 7

by Gina Scarpa

This week, on Hell's Kitchen, Chef Ramsay sent Salvatore packing - when he wasn't even up for elimination! Next up, it was Siobhan who got the axe after her repeatedly threw her under the bus and tried to get rid of her. Today, the two chefs teamed up to talk to RealityWanted in an exclusive interview. Read on to find out what they had to say about meeting Chef Ramsay in person, why raw food was repeatedly served to diners, and where you can find them cooking now.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What made you want to do Hell's Kitchen? Have you watched the show before?
A. Salvatore: I did watch the show. I loved it! I don't know about afterwards, though! No, when you work in the culinary world, you have to love Chef Ramsay. He's the man.
A. Siobhan: I watched multiple times and I told my husband that I wanted to be on the show. I looked for the casting call and he thought I was crazy. It was cool, though. I wanted to be in Chef Ramsay's presence and learn something from him.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What was Chef Ramsay like in person?
A. Salvatore: First of all, I had to pay attention when he was talking because I didn't understand. He talks so fast! He gets the way he is because he wants the best out of somebody. Sometimes, he can break you down. He's alright, he's a great guy. He's an amazing chef.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Siobhan, your team was throwing you under the bus left and right this week, even asking you to sit out of a challenge because they thought your food was the weakest. How did you keep your cool?W
A. Siobhan: I kept my cool because everybody was gunning for me the whole time. I've grown up my whole life with everybody always gunning for me. Every dog gets their day and they'll get their day. I stood my ground as much as I could. After a while, I was like, "Screw them!"

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Which chefs are you friends with?
A. Salvatore: I talk to Siobhan, we went out this week with Ed. I talk to Jason, the big guy.
A. Siobhan: I talk to Jason a little bit. I talk to Fran once a week. She's up in New York. I talk to Maria and Jamie as well and, of course, I talk to Salvatore!

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What was the big problem in the kitchen this week and why was everybody serving raw food?
A. Salvatore: I think the blue team was still drunk! They forgot to show up in the kitchen. The red team, I can't talk about it because I wasn't there. They need good communication and they always try to stab each other in the back. Benjamin is such a backstabber. It was great he left the blue team but it was bad for the red team.

A. Siobhan: I love that you just said that! Communication was awful! From the beginning, nobody got along. I have a very strong personality but I tried to take a backseat and see what they were like before I gave my two cents. I didn't want to add to the fire that was already brewing.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What's the biggest thing you learned from being on Hell's Kitchen?
A. Salvatore: You don't get a Michelin star in a restaurant if you're not good at it. When you bring the food up to serve, he already knows what he's going to say. He inspires you more. I messed up but in the end, I want to be better.
A. Siobhan: I learned a lot about myself. I gained more confidence about myself and my cooking than I ever did before. Stick to your guns. Stand on your own two feet. I listened to what he had to say. If you didn't get that from the show when he was yelling, then you're foolish. That's the biggest thing.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What are you up to now and where are you cooking?
A. Salvatore: I'm back to my pizza shop. I have a successful business. I'm back working and doing what I like to do. The show is the show. It was great but I'll still do what I like to do.
A. Siobhan: I have my own private chef business and consulting business as well. It goes hand in hand. You can find my info at siobhanallgood.com.
