Tonight’s Real Housewives of New Jersey started with Caroline having lunch with two of her sisters, Frannie and Cookie. The Laurita’s had 10 brothers and sisters growing up. Cookie looks a lot like Dina, actually. Caroline is talking to the sisters about her empty next anxiety and mainly in tonight’s episode deals with her own feelings of loneliness and her desire for Albert to retire, which he just isn’t willing to do yet.

 

Teresa and Jacqueline have lunch with Kim D, who invites them to a fashion event she is having for her store. Teresa is still a little tentative of Kim D because she hangs out with Danielle, but thinks they should go to the event. Jacqueline is a little more hesitant but when Ashley accepts Kim D’s offer to walk in the fashion show, Jacqueline feels like she needs to go to support her daughter.

Danielle is pissed. Pissed about being dissed by the front desk lady at Kim D’s store. Pissed about Kim D inviting Teresa and Jacqueline. Pissed about the sky being blue and the grass being green. (I can only hasten to guess that she thinks the entire world is against her and feel sorry for her, because that must really feel terrible.) Danielle looks really cute when she gets dissed at Kim D’s store, I love her outfit.

 

Danielle gets into an argument with Kim D, but in the end, Kim D is the one that eats crow and asks Danielle to reconsider attending the event, even if her sworn nemeses will be there. Danielle, who in the one breath was never going to spend another dime at Kim D’s store, decides in the next, to let it all go and forgive her for inviting Teresa and Jacqueline and attend the show.

The day of the fashion show arrives and Kim G comes to pick up Danielle. Danielle looks super cute again, she has a tiny little body that she works hard for, so she can wear a plastic bag and look cute, but she has great style too. Last season, Danielle was alluding to going broke if she didn’t get any help from her ex. This season, she seems to not be concerned at all with this, so should we assume that he caught up with his alimony or child support?

 

Danielle shows up fashionably late to the event, and Kim D is upset and chooses not to say hello to her. Kim D sits with Teresa and Jacqueline in a table across from Danielle and Kim G. It is awkward for everyone as they are all starting at each other. Danielle pretends to be on her phone, but she is livid that Kim D would sit with the "enemy", Kim G is trying to play peace keeper. Ashley walks the runway (while Danielle calls her a "coke whore" at her table) and when she sits down at her mom’s table, things intensify. She is staring Danielle down, and just doing your typical 18 year old stuff that she shouldn’t be doing. As Caroline said earlier to Jacqueline, Jacqueline really did need to cut Ashley down and tell her in no uncertain circumstances not to engage Danielle. As we will see later, it’s unfortunate for Ashley that she didn’t have that guidance because she is about to get in trouble and needed someone to put a leash on her before things got too heavy. Just my opinion…

 

Teresa, in a moment of either heightened awareness or instigation decides to go out to the hallway and wait for Danielle to walk by. She wants to say "Hello" to her and thinks it’s "high school" not to. Jacqueline decides to wait with her. As Danielle walks by, Teresa calls out to her, and Danielle stops. They exchange niceties, and then Danielle says she really doesn’t want to participate in the conversation which riles Teresa up. The rest we will have to see next week!
