Jonathan Novack from The Bachelorette 6

Last week on The Bachelorette, Jonathan made an attempt to serenade his way into getting another rose. Unfortunately, it didn’t work as planned and he was sent packing. Today, Jonathan spoke to RealityWanted and reporters on how different events may have led to him staying longer and getting to know Ali on a much deeper level.

Q. Danae, RealityWanted: What were your feelings for Ali? Do you wish that you had more time with her?
A. Jonathan: I absolutely wish I had more time with her. I thought she was the kind of girl I could fall for. She was a brilliant girl, beautiful, great sense of humor, ambitious, loved life; considerate, reasonable…these are all traits I look for. You can’t make sparks on a group date.

Q. Danae, RealityWanted: Is it hard to know that guys like Justin who might have a girlfriend stayed longer than you?
A. Jonathan: I think if Kasey showed her the tattoo the night I got sent home I would’ve still been there. As far as Justin goes, if that would’ve come out sooner I would’ve been there longer too, so there were some variables that could’ve played out differently.

Q. How did you feel about being in the house with Craig M.?
A. Jonathan: You know there are a couple things I guess I could say. It wasn’t just me that he was starting with; if it had been then it wouldn’t have been a big deal. It was Jesse B., it was Justin, it was other guys too. It was a problem with the house. If that was your daughter you wouldn’t want him to be the guy she would date. When he almost started a fist fight with Jesse B. that’s when I felt it was getting out of hand.

Q. Did you feel you were portrayed correctly?
A. Jonathan: You don’t see a lot that happens. Craig M. wasn’t the only guy I didn’t like in the house. You didn’t see me talk about them, though. I don’t talk trash about people but I legitimately thought there was a problem there with Craig in the house. In the end you can only conclude my intentions were sincere.

Q. You came across as nervous a lot of times. Comment on that.
A. Jonathan: There were times I was nervous but most of the time I was just having fun. Most of the time I was having a really good experience getting to know these guys. The most nerve wracking parts were the rose ceremonies. I just tend to wear my heart on my sleeve so you just see it in me a little more than most people.

Q. Talk about the calendar photo shoot. Did you feel like your outfit was unfairly chosen for you?
A. Jonathan: I couldn’t say it was unfair because other guys wore Speedos too. I was surprised, I actually looked pretty good in the Speedo.

Q. Do you think Ali found love at the end of the show and with who?
A. Jonathan: Good question. You know it’s interesting because I was surprised at the conversation she had with Chris Harrison that she was scared to fall in love. That kind of was interesting. I don’t know what will happen. Out of all the guys I would think Roberto would be up there, and maybe Kirk. Out of all the guys I thought Roberto was a very stand up guy and she seems to see that in him.

Q. Was Justin hated in the house as it came off on television?
A. Jonathan: My take is that the guys didn’t like him. I didn’t understand why they didn’t like him. I didn’t think it was a big deal that he showed his t-shirt the first night. He wasn’t treating anyone in the house badly. That confused me for awhile.
