This week on The Bachelorette, Kasey was left standing alone on a glacier after Ali chose to give Justin the rose on their two-on-one date. Today, Kasey spoke with RealityWanted and reporters about his experience on the show and his thoughts on his new permanently-inked skin.

 

Q. Danae, RealityWanted: Going into the double date with Justin, did you think you had a shot at getting the rose?
A. Kasey: Well yea, he might be competitive, but Ali is smart. I know she chose him, but I think she wanted to give him a second chance. I mean, she let me go because she knew I was wanting to find love and she wasn’t finding that strong connection.

 

Q. Danae, RealityWanted: Knowing now that Justin has a girlfriend back home, do you wish that would’ve been found out sooner so you could’ve had the chance to make a stronger connection with Ali?
A. Kasey: No not at all because if she would’ve felt the connection, it would’ve happened no matter what. That was meant to be.

 

Q. Now that you’ve had time to process everything and watch the show do you have any regrets about the tattoo?
A. Kasey: No, not at all. The whole process through it all, I love it.

 

Q. What do you think the fan perception is of you?
A. Kasey: You know I try to stay away from that. The online stuff, the blogs and the media…they have their opinion.

 

Q. So you got eliminated in one of the most dramatic ways you can. What was going through your head?
A. Kasey: It was a tough kind of emotional experience to take. You know you’re standing there watching a girl who chose someone else over you. It’s absolutely no fun. I think at the end of the day, she did it for her and she did it for me. In the long run that’s the best decision she could make. It was not meant to be.

 

Q. You said the tattoo wasn’t for Ali. Explain that.
A. Kasey: I got it to show I was genuine and sincere. In the long run it is for me and for who I am.

 

Q. Is there a particular person in the house you think is right for Ali?
A. Kasey: In my personal opinion, Frank would be great for Ali. He is everything she wanted.

 

Q. It is out in the media that Justin had a girlfriend while on the show, what is your reaction?
A. Kasey: I didn’t even know that. That’s pretty intense. Wow. I knew he wasn’t there for the right reasons. I even said it on the show a few times. I wouldn’t be surprised that he had a girlfriend back home while on the show.

 

Q. Why wasn’t there a connection between you and Ali?
A. Kasey: I just don’t think I was what she was looking for. I wanted her to feel the connection but I just wasn’t what she was looking for and she was honest with me. To let me go when she did was honorable.

 

Q. How has life been since the show?
A. Kasey: Everyone always wants to see the tattoo. It’s awesome because I get to show a piece of me. There is always the negative and the positive, but I’m taking the positive light.

 

Q. Do you think the show fairly showed you?
A. Kasey: People don’t get to see everything. They don’t get to see behind the scenes. There’s always stuff I wish they would’ve shown and other things I wish they didn’t show. I acted in those certain ways and I’m happy with it. I’m glad to see myself in the different way that I got to show myself.
