This week on True Beauty, the contestants are challenged on their magic tricks and another beautiful person is sent home.

 

Everyone back at the Planet Hollywood suite was anxiously waiting to find out who was eliminated. Michael wasn’t too happy when David walked in the door. 

 

The contestants all went down to hangout by the pool to show off their beautifulness, except Liz. Nobody seems to like her anyways so they didn’t seem to mind that Liz didn’t join them.

 

For this week’s challenge, the judges tell the contestants they are competing for a chance at an on-stage appearance for a magic show. However, the test is actually on their ability to keep a secret.

 

The contestants were taught a magic trick by Penn and Teller. The basic idea of the trick is to hide a red hanky in a fake thumb that they put over their real thumb in order to hide the hanky and make it seem as though the hanky disappeared.

 

Each contestant had a chance to practice the trick and then they had to perform it for Penn and Teller. Then it was off to a one-on-one press conference with Mark, a reporter from People who is also a spy for the show. Mark’s job is to ask the contestants a series of questions, including the secret to the trick. If they tell, they fail, but if they take the secret to their grave, they pass.

Craig – FAIL
Amy – PASS
Erika – PASS
Taylor – PASS

 

Penn and Teller chose the winner as well as the bottom two. The winner gets to make an appearance as an assistant on their Vegas show.

 

Winner – Amy
Bottom 2 – Regina and Michael

 

Everyone went to the magic show to watch Amy be Penn and Teller’s assistant.

 

The judges couldn’t make a decision at deliberation on who to send home, so they created one last hidden challenge to help them choose.

 

Both Regina and Michael individually have an encounter in the lobby with a drunk man who gets into a car and drives away. If they stop the man from driving, they pass.

 

Regina – PASS
Michael – FAIL

 

Regina was announced safe, at least until next week, which means the judges chose to send Michael home. Before he left, the judges revealed the truth to the show in that beauty is not only on the outside but on the inside as well.

 

Michael thinks they saw the wrong impression of him and was disappointed that he was sent home, naturally.
