"Ghosts From the Past"

 

On last night's episode of The Hills, Kristin goes on a manhunt to find a new guy to get Brody off her mind, but realizes that he might just be there for a reason.

 

Kristin evaluates her relationship with Brody, and knows that their friends-with-benefits relationship wasn't the real deal, but she didn't expect him to go off and find another girl so fast. Kristin isn't hanging out with any other guys, but if a good one came along she would so she and Stacie plan to go out and meet some new guys.

 

Lo has lunch with Brody's new "friend" Mckaela and offers her the opportunity to come intern with her at Smashbox Cosmetics. McKay is still a little curious about Brody's' relationship with Kristin. Lo thinks she should take things slow and have fun with him, but also try to be friends with Kristin.

 

Mckaela and Brody have dinner together and she tells him that she feels his relationship with Kristin is a little inappropriate. She doesn't want any girl drama or to make any enemies and he tells her that she's gonna have to deal with Kristin.

 

Kristin and Stacie go out to get Brody off the brain and meet some new guys but the guys that are out aren't exactly the tall, dark, and handsome type they were looking for.

 

Audrina and Stephanie go out shopping and Audrina admits that she and Ryan have been having some problems. She feels suffocated because he's been living with her while he is house shopping. However, he finally bought one and is moving out, so she's happy to get her life back.

 

Mckaela comes to Smashbox to meet with Lo's boss. And like all Hills girls, after a few get to know you questions, she was instantly hired and will be helping out on a photo shoot the next day.

 

After a bad night out, Kristin and Stacie are over putting themselves out there to meet new guys. Kristin is upset that she and Brody aren't even really friends anymore and that he hasn't even tried to clear things up between them.

 

Later that night, Audrina brings Lo and Stephanie along to check out some bands perform... and Audrina's ex-boyfriend Justin Bobby's band steps onstage. Lo and Stephanie can't believe that he is even in a band or that he could be passionate about anything. Audrina decides to stay and watch him and Justin is actually a pretty good drummer. She goes to say hi afterwards and Justin is very friendly and genuinely interested in how she has been.

 

Audrina goes to see Ryan's new house. She tells him about her trip to go see the bands the night before, but leaves out the fact that she also saw Justin perform. Ryan is leaving to go on the road for a while and Audrina will take the opportunity to catch up with some friends that she hasn't seen in a while.

 

That night, all the girls go out together and Kristin and Stacie are on the prowl again. Brody and his friends show up unexpectedly and he and Kristin get a chance to chat. Brody hadn't initiated any contact with her because he felt Kristin needed some time to cool off. Brody finally apologizes and tells her that he loves her and that he really means it. But it is hard to tell what he is implying. Does he love her as friends or more than that?

 

Things also seem to be stirring up between Audrina and Justin, too. He shows up without notice and they both get really cozy.
