Tonight, The Biggest Loser will crown its newest winner and it all comes down to Daris, Koli, Ashley, and Michael. In January, when season 9 premiered, we caught up with season 8 winner Danny Cahill to find out how he was progressing. Today, Danny sat down with us again, to reflect on the last 5 months and to talk about tonight's exciting, live finale. Read on for our exclusive interview with Danny!

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Your season finale was 5 months ago. What's life been like since then?
A. Danny: It's really been inspiring. It's been motivating. It's been challenging just to keep the weight off. It's kind of a strange mindset going from one extreme to trying to find balance. I think I'm doing that. I'm finding some balance. I do go out and eat a cheeseburger every now and then. I don't make it a habit.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What does it feel like to be someone who now inspires and motivates people?
A. Danny: It's been amazing. I feel like I'm one of the luckiest guys in the whole world. Not only did I get to change my life and be a motivation to my kids, now I get to speak to thousands of people all across the United States and inspire them to change their lives. It gives me a whole new sense of purpose. Everyone in life needs a purpose. What a great purpose to have!

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: You know better than most what it feels like for the contestants, going into tonight's live finale. What was that pressure like for you?
A. Danny: The pressure for me was immense. I was the very last one. I didn't get to see anyone until I burst through that paper. I didn't know what Rudy, Amanda, or Liz looked like. When I saw Rudy, I got scared. It was gut wrenching. I was thinking, "When it this going to be over?" The adrenaline takes over. When it's over, you just breathe. There's this big sigh and you crossed the finish line. Little did you know it's not the finish line, really. You're just where you want to be.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: We're excited to see Shay, from last season, weigh in tonight. Have you talked to her and do you know anything?
A. Danny: I hugged her yesterday and I will say that there's less of her to hug. Subway is giving her a thousand dollars for every pound she loses . Will she win $10,000? $50,000? Who knows? I'm not giving it away. I've got my guess but I could be wrong, too.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Will we see you on the finale?
A. Danny: I don't know. You never know. They haven't asked me but I'll be in the audience. I'll be one of the proud people, cheering then on.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What else can we expect?
A. Danny: You'll see Erik Chopin, the winner from season 3. He gained all of his weight back. He looks great, I had dinner with him last night. That's a testimony to lose your regrets and move forward.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Do the Biggest Loser contestants stay in touch and offer support to one another?
A. Danny: Yes we do! Some of us have bigger challenges than others. Some of struggle a little more than others but we're like best friends. Last night at dinner, I met some contestants I never met and I felt like I know them. We're part of this fraternity. After my season, there were only 206 people to ever be on the show. We share something no one else knows about. We gotta stick together. We're a family.

Don't miss the finale of The Biggest Loser, tonight at 8/7c on NBC.
