"This is Goodbye"

 

On tonight's episode of The Hills Spencer spins out of control to the point that his friends and family believe he is uncontrollable.

 

Holly and Spencer go out to lunch. They both feel that they are only sane ones left in their families. Spencer and Heidi have completely isolated themselves to the point that they have no friends or family left. Holly really misses her sister and just wants her to be normal again. Stephanie feels as if she has lost her brother to an addiction because he is so far gone.

 

Across town Kristin and Heidi hang out. Kristin talks about her and Brody. They have been hanging out a lot. Even though she isn't sure what's going on between them she's enjoying their time together. Kristin explains how scared she is of Spencer now, especially because of his aggressive outbursts. Heidi sticks up for Spencer saying that she understands his anger. She still loves him more than anything. "Who am I without Spencer?" she says. Now that she has stopped communicating with her family and lost several of her friends she just wants to work on her marriage. Kristin tells her that Spencer is out of control and she should get out if he is crazy. But Heidi doesn't think he's out of control and will support Spencer's crazy aggression to the end.

 

Audrina visits her boyfriend Ryan Cabrera at his music studio. She tells him that she and Kristin are setting up a night for everyone to hang out together at Wonderland, a club in Hollywood. Ryan wants to go but chooses to skip out on all the drama.

 

That night at Wonderland Brody pulls Audrina over to talk and takes opportunity to flirt with Audrina without Ryan's not around. But when he tries to spit his game Audrina shoots him down. She and Ryan have just gotten exclusive so she tells him that she has a boyfriend and that she doesn't want to overstep her boundaries because she knows that Kristin likes him.

 

Spencer shows up. Spencer starts talking with Brody. Brody tells him that he misses him and that he should take a break from married life and hang out with the boys. Brody can tell that Spencer hasn't been happy lately so he should kick back with the guys and escape for a minute. Brody calls Audrina over to say hi to Spencer and Spencer totally freaks out. He calls Audrina a crazy b**** for no reason whatsoever. From what I know he doesn't even have a reason to dislike her. Brody defends Audrina and Spencer starts yelling at him and gets so angry that he turns a deep red and the veins star bulging from his neck.

 

The next day Kristin, Audrina and Heidi have lunch together. Audrina tells Heidi about Spencer's feakout the previous night. Heidi makes excuses for Spencer again and explains that he has had a lot going on lately with his family and stuff. Kristin tells her that Spencer has always been wild and crazy but never so angry. Kristin and Audrina wonder why Heidi is so okay with the way Spencer is acting. Heidi explains that Spencer isn't at fault for the ways she is and that he didn't change her, she changed herself.

 

The whole gang goes out that night. It seems that Brody has given up on Audrina because he and Kristin are hugged up the whole night. They actually kiss! Heidi and Spencer also show up to everyone's surprise but completely ignore everyone except for Kristin. Heidi shows Kristin all of her crystals and the type of energy they generate. Spencer brags about how controlling he is of Heidi. He doesn't let Heidi watch television or go on the Internet. She basically has no contact with the outside world. Well... he lets her read books and poetry.  Scary.

 

Stephanie and Holly are done trying to save Spencer and Heidi from their own craziness when the obviously don't want any help. They are just going to let them do what they want.

 

The next morning, Brody wakes up at Kristin's house. Apparently... they got really cozy that night.  So what does this mean for their relationship? They are both really happy being single and also enjoy what is going on between the two of them. So I guess their going to try the "friends with benefits" thing.

 

Later that day all the girls, Lo, Kristin, Audrina, Holly and Stephanie meet at Kristin's house to figure out what to do about Heidi and Spencer. They are all really concerned for Heidi. Holly almost wants to kidnap Heidi because it seems that Spencer has brainwashed her. But she realizes that it is Heidi's fault too that she has taken such a turn to crazy town. The girls feel that Heidi hides behind Spence and plays the role of the victim. They all agree to completely cut off Mr. and Mrs. Pratt and wait to see if they come back around. They won't see them, talk to them or even talk about them. Holly and Stephanie devastated that things have to be this way for them and their families.
