The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 2 is rather uneventful this week, except for the children of the show.

 

Jacqueline sends flowers to Christine, Danielle’s daughter, for her break into modeling, and when Danielle gets them, she obsesses and calls Jacqueline twice, once to thank her and once to tell her off and tell her she thought she was “her own woman” which seems like a ploy to divide Jacqueline from Chris which is some bad mojo.  Later, Christine gets direction on how to walk from an expert at the modeling agency and is annoyed with Danielle’s stage mom presence. She also is annoyed with little sister Jillian and slams her looks when Danielle says that they look alike. Fashion week happens; Christine nails the runway, but gets faint and nauseous at the end of the show when she is supposed to stand still for 25 minutes while people look at the clothes. Maybe it’s the 2 slices of melon she ate in lieu of food? Also, Danielle takes her house off the market...wow, who didn't see that coming? Duh.

 

Jacqueline, who was trying to spend some time with her son when Danielle started blowing up her telephone, has Caroline over and talks to her a little bit about the issues. Caroline repeats what she has said 1000 times, that if she just cuts her off, she won’t hear from her anymore. Jacqueline sees that Danielle is trying to cause a rift between her, her husband and sister-in-law. 

 

Dina has Teresa, who is about to give birth right there, over for tea and they talk about, what else? Danielle. It’s all ANYONE in New Jersey talks about apparently…Later, she has Zen Jen over, to cleanse her energy (?) and Jen smudges the house and advises Dina to tell Danielle that enough is enough and that they are not going to be in communication any longer.

 

Teresa’s daughter Gia (who earlier at a clothing store states that she is “too pretty to work”…must be nice!) is finally getting her break in a runway show, and although one would think, after watching her on the show that she would be a ham and a touch too dramatic for the runway, she actually does really well in the moment. Joe, who we have seen on past episodes to have an inane sense of humor ,teases her about walking the “ugly stage” and being unattractive on the way to the show, which results in Gia’s crying on the way there. He is proud afterward and tells her she is gorgeous.  Proud “aunts” Jacqueline and Caroline go to the show and giggle over Gia as well.  

 

How many more seasons of Manzo vs Danielle do we get to sit through after this season? Wake me when it's over...
