Project Runway Season 6

"Sew Much Pressure" or "That's it...I'm Leaving!"

First of all, my DVR didn't record the original airing so I had to stay up later to watch the second airing. I'll be fine...I guess.

OMG they get to design a Red Carpet look for Heidi!!!! SO GREAT! This season is all about dressing Mrs. Klum/Samuel. First the Marie Claire cover...now this.

30 minutes to sketch...

Maya???

Where are you???

LEAVING??? DON'T LEAVE!!! WE LOVE YOU!!! What just happened? So lost...so confused...so, uh, um...I don't...HUH?  Wow...my little world is turned upside down.

I guess the production has to move on so, I guess, we're off to Mood with $300... Thanks Mood.

We need 6 designers to move on...let's bring Anthony back.

Sew, sew, sew.

Seth Aaron's model gets a higher-paying job...new model for S.A.

Sew, sew, sew.

Heidi is involved in the critiques this time. Fun.

Let's start the show...

(The following statements are made as the models are coming down the runway. This is before seeing the top 3, bottom 3 and listening to the judges' thoughts.)

Super special guest judge: Jessica Alba!!!

Jay Nicholas
Grey dress with pieced-top and ruffle skirt. I like it, of course, but I think it's too "Party dress" and not "Red Carpet dress" enough for this challenge.

Mila
Brown dress with metallic stripe detail. I like the bustline but, as she referenced, the construction was a little off...also, not WOW enough for the Red Carpet.

Anthony
Black and white full length dress with black belt. This is an elegantly simple design and, so far, this is the most appropriate for the Red Carpet.  Great back, too.

Seth Aaron
Black dress with strapping detail and stud-work. Other than the gathering that's happening on the model's mid-section this is very stunning. Nice work, dude.

Jonathan
Ivory, coral and black drapy shift dress. This is the most non-Jonathon thing he could have put down the runway. I am a huge fan of Mr. Peters and I don't see him in this look, at all. I'm sad, now.

Emilio
Copper, sequined, dress with bustline detail. As much as I'm not a fan of Emilio and his work...I really have to hand it to him. This is a stunner and should be recognized. The fit is amazing, as well.

My top designers: Emilio (for the win), Anthony, and Seth Aaron

My bottom designers: Jonathon (sadly, for the Auf), Mila and Jay Nicholas

Seth Aaron, Jonathan, Mila and Jay Nicholas get the lowest scores...

Judges liked Anthony and Emilio.

Emilio and Anthony BOTH get the win!!! Jonathan gets the Heidi kiss-of-death and is sent home. Boo.
