Survivor: Heroes Vs. Villains

Last week on Survivor: Heroes Vs. Villains, the search began for the famous hidden immunity idol... the same hidden immunity idol that was wonderfully played at the Heroes tribal council. The villains have to get serious and realize that Russell is going to be on the hunt for it until he finds it. I know Russell so well...

Watching the villains arrive back at camp after tribal was kind of fantastic to me. I have nothing against the villains but I am rooting for the heroes. However, if I could bet, I would bet the villains have a great shot at running the table, just based on gameplay alone.

Okay before we talk strategy, let's just take a minute and thank the power of baby oil on a bunch of hot people. I wanted to press pause on my DVR and just stare at James and Colby. I know everyone was thinking it at home sitting on their couches. Everyone seriously looked like plastic mirror dolls. I loved it.

Back to the game! Oh Coach, poor poor Coach. Dry your tears, Dragon Slayer, you can make it through.

After tribal council, the drain you feel is incredible. It's more emotionally draining then anyone can imagine, especially if you have to defend yourself against people. I personally had to defend myself more than once. It's not fun and it puts a huge target on your back.

Trainer's Tip #4 - Threatening to leave is something that should really think about before you say anything. It puts an easy target on your back when you may not even want to go home.

Back at camp, the search began for the idol. I like what the villains are doing and saying that whoever finds it will have a target on their back. Even though right after they said it where did Russell go? Looking for the idol! They are all catching onto his little games he plays especially Sandra and Boston Rob. I have an idea; let's send Sandra out to spy on Russell to see what he is doing while the shelter is being built.

By the way, what number shelter are we at now? Fifth? Sixth? Seventh?

The heroes were everyone for themselves when it came to the idol. When they hit a hot spot, the troops came running. It was a mad dash to unmask the hidden idol. When Tom found it, I personally thought he did a good job of just hiding it in his shoe. Amanda did see him though and, in the end, that ended up saving Tom. He had a target on his back and used it at the right time.

For immunity, it was the challenge that Russell Swan left. My heart goes out to Big Russ who was probably watching at home and had to relive the challenge and relive what he went through. That had to be tough! I don't know what it is but the villains seem to have their stuff together when it comes to challenges. Once again the villains take the win.

Tribal was fantastic. I was so excited to see what would happen. Tom did the right thing and pulled the idol at the right time to save himself. When he pulled it out it was just like the time when Russell played it and Kelly got blindsided! I think Kelly's blindside will go down in history as best blindside though.

It's great watching the all stars play. Everyone is so smart in the game and seems to be making the right moves at least from what I can tell. Cirie was called the "puppet master." That sounds familiar doesn't it, Russell? So why not vote her out? The last time she played she glided into a great position without anyone noticing. I think JT did the right move and switched to keep Tom in the game. I think that added value to him and this could have been the game change for the good ol' southern boy.
