The Bachelor: Jason and Molly

by David McAlpine

After 14 seasons of roses, tears, screaming, fighting and everything in between, one of ABC's Bachelors finally found his happy ending. It wasn't necessarily with the girl he gave the final rose to, but Season 13's Jason Melnick and Molly Malaney said their special "I do"s on tonight's ABC special.

Flash back a couple weeks and the night begins with Jason and Molly picking out their perfect wedding rings. We see a little bit of the planning of the wedding, the cake and the invitations--everything looks like it's setting up to be a magical night. The reception is themed around the Garden of Eden, full of green things and tons of flowers.

Both Jason and Molly head to Las Vegas for their bachelor/bachelorette parties, but there's no scandal here! They even meet up for a dance by the fountain at the Bellagio. Sorry to ruin the moment, but isn't that kind of not the point of these parties? Maybe it's just show for the cameras.

Back to Los Angeles, where Jason and Molly share a small dinner with the family the night before the wedding. Memories are shared, tears are shed and Jason and Molly spend their last night as single people.

It's finally the big day, and Jason and Molly are hard at work getting ready. Molly has a whole team on her hair and makeup while Jason is, well, just getting ready in his tux. Molly's shoes arrive and they're green just like the entire reception, and like she was when Jason picked Melissa! Inappropriate? Possibly? Oh well, here's another one: I kind of think they deserved it to rain on their wedding day. It's just a little visit from our friend karma, that's all.

The guests start to arrive and there are several familiar faces: Trista and Ryan, Deanna (Bachelorette Season 4) and Stephen Stagliano (brother of Mike, Bachelorette Season 5), Jillian and Ed, Kiptyn and his beau…the list goes on.

Even though it's raining, the two manage to exchange vows and share a kiss in a beautiful ceremony. It was finally time to celebrate for the happy couple and Chris Harrison (how could we forget him!) had a surprise for them: Gavin DeGraw, Molly's favorite artist. He played a song for their first dance, they ate cake and everyone danced the night away.
