Tomorrow night, Shear Genius returns to Bravo for its third season with a few... okay, a lot of changes to the haircutting competition. Replacing Jaclyn Smith as host is Camila Alves, stylist Orlando Pita will mentor the contestants, and Jonathan Antin (Bravo's Blow Out) is stepping in as a new judge. In fact, the only familiar face to fans will be that of Kim Vo, who returns as a judge. Today, he spoke to RealityWanted about the upcoming season, the changes, the contestants, and the hair trends we'll be seeing on and off the runway this spring.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What changes have you made to the show this season, besides the most obvious, which is bringing on a new host.
A. Kim: There are changes that you're going to see that's a wow factor like brand new sets. We have a whole new crew and of course, Camila Alves. The challengers are international and celebrities in their own right.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What does Camila bring to the table as the new host?
A. Kim: Gorgeousness obviously! I love Jaclyn Smith and she can never be replaced but Camila is a breath of fresh air. She's a model and a mom. It's great to have her on the show and get a different perspective.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Let's talk about Jonathan Antin, the new judge. I've seen him before on Blow Out and he's quite a character. What was he like to work with on Shear Genius?
A. Kim: Come on, what you see is what you get. He's a friend and doll but come on. He's definitely the one that gives his real opinion. I mean, we all do but he definitely has no filter.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Can you give us a little inside peek at some of the challenges we'll be seeing this season?
A. Kim: We have this romantic book photo shoot. We have a secret musical guest to see things from the music side. It's a female artist and what she would do. The challenges are really high end.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What do you think viewers get out of watching Shear Genius?
A. Kim: The show is great. They're gonna get stuff that they're going to go to the salon with. Whether they're a stylist or client, they'll see the trends. Also, you get a bunch of hairdressers together and you've got drama. Just add water.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Speaking of trends, what will we be seeing for hair trends as the spring approaches?
A. Kim: In the spring, we've still got this tousled, beachy, Bohemian wave that's all over the runways. Not too curly, just tousled hair.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Besides the new season of Shear Genius, what else are you working on? Any big projects?
A. Kim: I have so many projects going on. I have my product line and we're supporters of stylists so we put our products in salons, as well as in Barney's.

The third season of Shear Genius premieres Wednesday, February 3rd, at 10pm ET on Bravo.
