 Quarantine Station – Sydney, Australia

From 1833 to 1984 the Quarantine Station was the temporary resting spot of sick passengers that came off of ships trying to enter Sydney.  The buildings were considered “infested by disease.” One of the dining halls was built on sacred grounds and many reports of paranormal activity come from this hall.  Considered the mostly “evil” and “haunted” place in Australia, claims of ghostly patients, doctors, and nurses, children and adults, have been reported by the current caretakers.  Many people died horrible deaths by various forms of plague or other diseases and this had to leave a paranormal stench.

Team leader Robb Demarest and Joe Chin started their investigation in the Shower Block where people would take a chemical shower which would peal a layer of skin off in order to make sure they were not carrying and type of skin disease or lice before they entered the general public.  Joe believed that he kept seeing shadowy figures and did his best to provoke the spirits and one may have shook one of the shower doors.  They couldn’t find anyone else around.  Not long after this Robb began hearing whispers and then Joe heard a “hey!” as he was walking past one of the shower stalls.  Joe then reported something tugging on his sweatshirt.  A lot of activity to start the show.

Brandy Green and Ashley Godwin tried there best to come in contact with a little boy named “Isaac” who did succumb to his sickness while at the hospital and has been reportedly seen by those who worked at the facility.  As Brandy was asking questions, she believed she heard footsteps behind her which led them to a set of stairs that led to the basement.  This area is where a little girl, who wears a pink dress, is said to give people a choking feeling, as well as, grab peoples legs.  As they began asking for the little girl to contact them, Brandy began feeling a cold sensation in her hands.  No additional contact was made.

Barry Fitzgerald and Dustin Pari headed to the kitchen where shadowy figures have been seen and one entity doesn’t like people hanging out there.  They started an EVP session and Barry, using a high power mic, thought he heard a man’s voice.  They continued to ask questions and when Dustin asked “Did you work here and how long” the voice heard by Barry said “3 months.” When Dustin asked “if he liked people hanging out here” he believe he heard “No.”

Robb and Paul Bradford headed to the dinning hall where Brandy and Ashley investigated earlier.  They called for the little boy, who is said to hang out there.  They did get some knocks and bangs but hoped to get more in response to their questions.  Robb continued his questioning but did not get anything else audible.

Paul Bradford drew the short straw and had to lay on the metal slap in the morgue where activity has been reported, of course the morgue is always good for paranormal activity.  As he called for the spirits to communicate with him a noise, that sounded like dragging feet, made him jump up from the table to investigate.  Nothing around of course so he continued his EVP session and noticed the temperature dropping very fast.  Hopefully more evidence would be collected on the audio recorders.

The team had a pretty good amount of personal experiences during this investigation and a good amount of them were caught on their equipment.  One of the EVPs caught was that of someone saying “Paul.”  Paul actually thought he heard someone call his name earlier as well.  Another question was asked during an EVP session and a response came back as “Let’s talk.”  They team did get a very eerie picture of what looked like a little boy standing by a fence out in the yard area.  The team called the Quarantine Station haunted, end of story.
