Next week, Patti Stanger returns to Bravo for the third season of Millionaire Matchmaker. Business is great and her personal life is even better. After helping create several lasting relationships, Patti has found one of her own and got engaged to Andy Friedman. This season of Millionaire Matchmaker will be full of tender moments and dramatic encounters, including a rematch between Patti and her notorious client from season 2, Shauna Raisch. Today, Patti spoke to RealityWanted in an exclusive interview about Shauna, her upcoming wedding, and her excitement over season 3 of Millionaire Matchmaker.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: How are you feeling, going into season 3 of Millionaire Matchmaker? Did you know, initially, that the show was going to become so huge?

A. Patti: I was hoping it would become successful. I was worried with all the Housewife action. I’m so excited about season 3. We have the most matches we’ve ever had!

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: You had said that the one thing that people got on you about was the fact that you weren’t married and in your 40s. Now, you’re engaged! Tell us about your fiancé, Andy.

A. Patti: Andy is a little bit of a commitment phobe. He’s a typical, good looking, Jewish, California guy. Kind of an average Joe. He’s well mannered, he’s polite.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Given that you are a matchmaker, you must’ve had high standards and were picky with the guys that you

chose for yourself.

A. Patti: No actually I wasn’t. I had low standards and low self esteem like a lot of girls. I didn’t go for nice guys. I wasted a lot of time with bad boys.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: How do you find time to plan a wedding, considering how busy your work schedule is?

A. Patti: I have a fiance who's neurotic and an overanalyzer.  You'd think he's metrosexual but he's not.  He planned his parents' 50th Anniversary party a few years back.  With the wedding, he's like, "What if I don't like the cake?  What if I don't like the flowers?"  He's helping me with it all.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: You’re very blunt with your clients when trying to set them up with someone. How do they react to your honesty?

A. Patti: I think what happens is that some times they’re not receptive but then they realize that I’m right later. You’re gonna see a couple of clients who go through that this season.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Shauna, from season 2, comes back to haunt you this season. Can you talk a little bit about the encounter that the two of you have?

A. Patti: We’re gonna have a knockdown drag out fight. I’d like to pull every ounce of Botox out of her eyes. She was horrible. She was nasty to my staff and rude to the client that she picked. You’re gonna see a lot of drama.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: It’s understandable that some of your clients worry about people going after them for money. How do you make them feel confident that you are protecting them from gold diggers?

A. Patti: They sign affidavits that say they won’t ask for anything financial. There’s also something called a prenup. Get it signed.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Do you have a favorite match that you made in season 3?

A. Patti: There’s a couple of ones. There’s a lot of matches. You’ll see…

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: You’ve got the show, a book, and a radio show. Is there anything else that you’re hoping to tackle and conquer?

A. Patti: I have a new website so that people don’t have to be a millionaire to join that. I’m working with 1-800-Flowers and they’ll be part of the show. I have a collection of bouquets. I think what I really wanna tackle is making a romantic comedy, like He’s Just Not That Into You, but it’ll be like How To Get Married in 1 Year.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What’s the best piece of advice you can offer single people out there right now?

A. Patti: The one thing I always tell people is that when you’re looking for love, know that you don’t have to pick the first person you meet. You need to take your time. You don’t have to be ultra picky but don’t treat it like if you don’t have your husband tomorrow, you’re a loser. You don’t have to be in heat. He’ll show up when you least expect it. Also, learn how to cook. I cook for Andy and he’s my sous chef. I feel like men really fall in love with women are domestic. Being good in bed is not good enough.
