Just days before the season premiere was set to air of The Bachelor: On The Wings Of Love, ABC dropped a bombshell when they revealed that one of the women competing for Jake Pavelka’s love and affection had an affair with a member of production during filming.  In the clips for the upcoming events that will take place this season, which aired at the end of Monday night’s episode, host Chris Harrison is seen saying that everyone must deal with something that has never happened in the history of the show and the look of shock and hurt on the faces of Jake and the girls is evident.

 

Perhaps not surprisingly to many Bachelor fans who tuned it Monday night, the woman caught sneaking around with one of the show’s producers is 28 year old Rozlyn Papas, a makeup artist and model from Richmond, Virginia.  Though there was no denying her good looks, Jake was concerned that there may not have been more between them besides sex appeal and the other women in the house started to feel that she wasn’t there for the right reasons.

 

ABC has not given too many details about the affair, only that it was an “inappropriate relationship”.  RadarOnline obtained an exclusive interview with Rozlyn’s childhood friend and first boyfriend, who said that she is “a really a wonderful person who has had a tough time because of the situation. I think she is doing great." 

 

Host Chris Harrison addressed the relationship in a radio interview last week saying, "In fairness to Jake and for the other women, we decided to nip this in the bud and take care of it. And that's what we did. There's trainwrecks in this show where I'm like, 'Oh, it's going to be great. Let's let them have it.' But... I felt bad for everybody, and it was an uncomfortable deal."  The incident will be dealt with in the upcoming January 11 episode. 

 

 

The Bachelor: On The Wings Of Love airs Mondays at 8pm ET on ABC.
