Gran Hotel Vienna – Miramar, Argentina

The entire team is back with Robb Demarest continuing to lead the team followed by Brandy Green, Barry Fitzgerald, Dustin Pari, Joe Chin, and Ashley Godwin.  Paul Bradford, who accompanied the team on an investigation last season, is now listed as a full team member.

The water front Gran Hotel Vienna survived, although barely, a nasty flood and now is just a shell of itself.  That being said, It was the

only building in the area to not be completely destroyed by the flood.  The hotel gets it’s fame by possibly being the final resting spot of Adolf Hitler.  The conspiracy theory is that Hitler was drugged and then dragged from his bunker, which he is said to have died in, and then he eventually took up residence in the hotel.  The Nazi’s apparently had taken over the hotel and paid off it’s workers to allow them to escape and rest safely after the war.  Interestingly enough, one of the wings of the hotel used for plastic surgery. Theorists feel that many high ranking Nazi’s were given plastic surgery to escape being captured and punished for their war crimes.  Former guests and caretakers of the hotel have mentioned seeing many apparitions, with one looking exactly like Adolf Hitler.  These same people have also heard loud footsteps, like those coming from boots, a static radio sound coming from one room and seeing a floating colorful light wonder up the stairs to the second floor.

Robb, Ashley, and Brandy were the first to investigate the time-forgotten hotel.  They started an EVP session in one of the old rooms where a very real man/ghost was said to have appeared and when Robb brought up the Nazi’s, something pounded on the wall next to them.  Not long after pounding somebody knocked on the door used to enter the room but nobody else was in the hall.

Barry and Paul, who both grew up in Europe, certainly had a bone to pick with the ghost of Hitler and they tried very hard to get some type of reaction from the Nazi ghosts by taunting them.  Paul believed he saw something pass by an upstairs window and they could not track down anyone or anything that may have caused the visual.

The tag team of Robb, Ashley, and Brandy began using a Static Meter to see if they could track any type of activity and as they were calling for Adolf the meter began to show some activity which was then followed by footsteps down the hall, something reported by the caretakers.

It didn’t take long for Joe and Dustin to get some response as they were starting their own EVP session.  Some loud noises were heard in the upstairs area and one loud pound after they asked a question had them running to the top floor only to find nothing.

Robb started a EVP session using the Static Meter and asked whatever spirits were in the room to light up various lights on the meter and every time he asked the proper lights showed up.  Robb then asked Hitler’s ghost to touch one of the team members in the room and Brandy felt something touch her leg, along with, a cold sensation.  Robb then headed off to the room where the ghost of Hitler, or someone that looked Hitler, appeared to a guest. He decided to do this investigation alone with all the gadgets he could handle.  As he was talking he heard something in the hall and when he went out into the hallway he found one of his cameras completely drained of power, which is said to occur when ghosts are trying to make themselves appear.  As he was in the hallway, the Static Meter that he placed on the floor completely lit up like a Christmas tree.  He then lost two more cameras to battery drain.  He ended his EVP session and the hope was that something interesting would be heard when the audio was played back later.

While Barry and Dustin were investigating they believe they heard a radio playing music.  Nothing more to report but considering there wasn’t any radios in the hotel, who knows what it might have been.

Outside of the teams’ personal experiences, there wasn’t a lot of evidence found on the audio and video devices, especially with the EVP sessions which usually offer some pretty interesting paranormal activity.  One major piece of evidence they did get was that of a picture of, well, an apparition sitting on a bed.  Couldn’t really tell if it was Hitler or not but something or many things are calling this hollowed out hotel home.
