On the season finale of The Hills, summer is coming to an end and we find out whose relationships are really meant to be and which ones were just summer love. 

Back in LA, Stacie and Kristin discuss her off again on again relationship with Justin. Kristin tells her how much fun she had in Vegas with him, but she doesn't see how their their relationship would be the same in the real world. Stacie reminds her that he did go all the way to Vegas to see her, and taking a risk on him might be good. But Kristin is still unsure.

Brody and Spencer shoot some hoops. Spencer tells him that he found a pregnancy test in the trash and that he might really be a dad. Brody is skeptical about his relationship with Jayde because she is trying to take their relationship to the next level. But Brody doesn’t want to be pressured into anything.

Audrina and Lo go shopping and Audrina tells her that she called Justin again. She feels that she couldn’t get anything out the last time they met so she wants to meet him one last time to get the closure she needs. 

Kristin and Justin hang out at her beach house. The summer is coming to an end and Kristin is packing up and getting ready to leave Malibu. Justin tells her that if she is having trouble finding a place she can always stay with him. He really finds that compatibility and attraction with her and that it is really rare. Kristin is still skeptical and thinks they should just cool off a bit. She just doesn’t’ want to be serious with anybody. Justin tells her to figure it out because he isn’t a flake anymore and showed her how serious he was by going to Vegas to be with her. 

Spencer and Enzo are hanging out playing Wii and Heidi comes home. Spencer doesn’t want to directly ask Heidi anything, but simply asks if she went to the pharmacy for anything. She says no and asks him to confront her if he has a problem, but he doesn’t. 

Brody and Jayde attend their friend Taylor’s engagement party. Jayde and Abbey, Taylor's fiance, chat and Abbey tells Jayde that it’s about time that she and Brody get engaged. Taylor and Frankie tell Brody the same thing that he should be thinking about making a commitment. 

Later during dinner, Jayde tries to push Brody into taking to the next step and moving in together to show his commitment to her. But Brody just doesn’t want to hear it. 

Kristin tells Stacie the news, that she broke it off with Justin for good. She just is so afraid to get close to guys because of her parents divorce. But at the same time she doesn’t want to miss out on something great.

Audrina and Justin meet on the pier. Audrina tells him that she can’t even be friends with him and it will be the last conversation they will ever have. She tells him how self-centered that he is and how hurt she was over everything. Justin tells her that he couldn’t commit because she wasn’t the one. She wishes him the best and leaves. 

Spencer sits down with Heidi to talk. He tells her that he found a pregnancy test in the trash. It turns out Heidi was hoping she might be pregnant, but wasn’t. Spencer doesn’t understand how she could go behind his back and try to get pregnant. Heidi is upset that he shut down the entire idea of having kids. Spencer tells her that he isn't completely against having a baby, and when he is ready to start a family he will. Heidi is so thrilled that he is not against the idea and is willing to wait. 

Brody, Taylor and Frankie hang out at Brody’s condo. Brody thinks he is done with his relationship with Jayde. The pressure that Jayde was giving him to move in was just too much. He is ready to be single again and see what is out there, and he thinks he may still have feelings for Kristin. 

Kristin is packing up her Malibu home and Justin pays her a surprise visit.  He tells her that he has been thinking about their relationship and just can’t let her go. His big issue is commitment, but he believes in their relationship and will try to make thinks work. She just doesn’t know if she can trust him, but is willing to give it a shot. Kristin asks Justin if he is her boyfriend now? I guess we’ll have to find out next season.
