At long last, it’s time to find out who will make the Top 10 on So You Think You Can Dance this season and head out on tour.  It seems pretty obvious who the definites will be but America likes to throw a few curveballs every now and then.  Things get started with a totally weird but cool piece by Tabitha and Napoleon.  Quite different than their normal stuff… for a minute there, it looked like Wade Robson came up with the concept.

Cat brings Karen and Victor and Asleigh and Jakob out onto the stage first.  Hmm, I wonder which couple will be safe.  It’s Ashleigh and Jakob, of course!  They are the first two dancers to officially make the Top 10, while Karen and Victor must dance for their lives later on in the show.

Next up on the stage is Mollee and Nathan and Legacy and Kathryn.  It’s not necessarily surprising when Mollee and Nathan are the second couple to land in the bottom.  I’m a little sad, mostly because I’m a Nathan fan, but I could not be happier for Legacy and Kathryn.  I especially can’t wait to see him on tour!  Yes, I’m already excited…

Finally, Cat stands with Ryan and Ellenore and Russell and Noelle.  When Ryan and Ellenore land in the bottom, they seem a little surprised but there’s no denying that Russell and Noelle have built a following over the weeks. 

Here’s how the solos went down:
- Well, Karen hardly wears any clothes and just does a bunch of ballroom walks around the stage.  That’s about the only way I can describe what she did.
- Victor’s solo packed a lot of power and passion.  He stayed away from the tricks, after being spoken to by the judges, and definitely danced for his life.
- Mollee is talented, no doubt.  Her solo reminded me of a competition routine, though, and I felt underwhelmed.
- I’m a big Nathan fan and I feel that he should make the tour.  I do see Nigel’s point that he hasn’t necessarily grown but that doesn’t mean he’s not spectacular.
- Well, Ellenore is weird, for sure.  She’s also interesting and totally original.  I’ve become a fan over the last few weeks.
- Anybody else think Ryan reminds them of a Chippendales dancer? 

Shakira performs (which I fast forwarded) and it’s time for a decision from the judges.  They are unanimous in their decision regarding the girls but not with the guys.  I predicted Karen and Victor leaving before this episode started.  Turns out, I’m right… but I wish I wasn’t.  I really did love Victor this season.  Here’s hoping he’s an alternate on the tour.
