“Scrambled Egos”

Sheree’s trainer Cliff is trying to set her up in this week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Cliff keeps Sheree in check with her workouts and asks her about her preference in men. Sheree admits she is picky and has high expectations. NeNe and Lisa are dropping in on Derek Blanks to see if they can get a sneak peak of their Alter Ego photos before the reveal party. Derek won’t let them see the photos and says that 300 people have RSVP’d for the party. It is a black tie event, and the “elite of Atlanta” should be on hand for the exhibit and reveal of the Real Housewives photo shoots. While driving, Lisa asks NeNe about the song “Tardy For The Party” that NeNe is supposed to be recording with Kim. She also asks if NeNe thinks that Sheree showed up late on purpose to her Closet Freak fashion show, in jeans and a hoodie to boot.

Meanwhile, Sheree and her friend Tania go to Cliff’s bodybuilding show, where Cliff tries to introduce Sheree to a friend of his. Sheree is uninterested in the friend, and the girls listen to him go on and on talking in the green room, while they are unintentionally missing all of Cliff’s show.

Kim shows up to Kandi’s house to talk to her about the single “Tardy for the Party” She doesn’t realize that Kandi has a recording studio in her guest house, and Salasi (Sound Engineer) and Don Vito (Producer) are with Kandi, waiting to have Kim sing over the music. Kandi knows they can make it into a cool song and as she says herself she “cannot be associated with wackness.”

Kim is shocked at how good the song that Kandi has re-worked sounds, but she is intimidated and doesn’t want to sing. Kandi talks her in to conquering her fears and trying to just have fun with it. Kim sings it through a couple times, and you can tell she is nervous. After she sings it, she goes out for a smoke and starts to choke up. Kandi says Kim is “broken down”. She admits to being incredibly nervous but after she hears her voice over the music, she does a 180 degree turn and mentions to Kandi that perhaps NeNe doesn’t need to be in the song at all. Kandi thinks maybe Kim wants the spotlight all to herself, and Kim also says that it is such a big moment, maybe she isn’t willing to share it anymore.

NeNe is getting ready for the Derek Blanks Alter Ego reveal party and is looking forward to speaking with Kim about the song.
All the girls attend the black tie event. Sheree hasn’t seen Lisa since the fashion show for Closet Freak, where Sheree showed up hours late in jeans and a sweatshirt. Sheree wants to see where Lisa thinks she is going with the clothing line. Lisa tells Sheree that the show went great and that whenever Sheree has her show, Lisa will go dressed up, and not be late for it. During the party, Kim goes to smoke and wipes out down three cobblestone stairs outside. Dwight is there to help her up, but Kim has pulled a strap in one of her high heels. It looks pretty ugly; Kim’s legs are scratched up pretty good. At first, probably because she is in shock, she seems fine. Gregg, Dwight and Kandi’s mom take her to a car to get a first aid kit out and put ice on her ankle. The crowd starts to grow around the group, as onlookers vie for a closer look of Kim’s bloody, scratched up legs. The party ends up virtually moving outside and when Kim asks Sheree and NeNe to listen to a sample of “Tardy for the Party” that she has in her car. Sheree is shocked that she actually likes it, and NeNe likes it too!

Kim is starting to act as if she is in a pretty good amount of pain, and NeNe is annoyed with her, thinking she is trying to get attention. After a doctor at the party says that Kim cannot put her shoes on again, and most likely has a sprained or broken ankle, NeNe goes to have the Alter Ego photos moved outside for the reveal (to which NeNe says “this is some tacky sh**”). NeNe first reveals Kim’s so she can leave. Lisa says that Kim ALWAYS finds a way to not be a part of the group. Personally, I think they are all being a little hard on Kim. Sometimes once your adrenaline and shock wear off after you fall, you do feel the pain more intensely. It is common!

The reveals of the Alter Ego photos are all a huge success!

Later at the party, Dwight asks Sheree about her line and extends an offer of any help to her.
Meanwhile, Kim wheels herself to a hospital to get that ankle checked out.

Next week, don’t be Tardy For The Party! Watch Kandi and NeNe go head to head, when everything breaks loose at an event. NeNe finds out that Kim is squeezing her out of the song! Catch the DRAMA on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, all new next Thursday at 10 p.m. E/P on Bravo!!!
