Last time on Big Brother 11, Natalie won
HoH, securing her a spot in the final three. Michele, Kevin and Jordan all
jockeyed to better their position in the house but, in the end, only Jordan got
a key.
Tonight, the nominees are proven meaningless
as it all comes down to the final Power of Veto competition and, right after
that, the live eviction. Kind of ironic that once Natalie has the actual power,
it doesn’t matter that much, right? Another fun fact: one person from each
clique remains in the game (as if we all remember the days when the cliques
were together).
Starting off from where it stopped, the
lies continued across the house. It almost seems as if no one realizes that the
power is going to rest solely in the person who holds the Power of Veto.
Natalie tries to turn Jordan on Michele, even though Natalie has said over and
over again that her target is Kevin. Natalie also lies to Kevin, telling him
that she thinks Jordan might be going along with the plan to boot Michele. It’s
almost as if no one knows who is the most capable of winning the veto, so
everyone is trying to cover their own bases.
Cut to the veto competition, which is,
sadly, pre-taped, even though most viewers just happened to think it was live.
As most final PoVs are, it’s a memory-related challenge that involves stacking
blocks and remembering a lot about former houseguests. Jordan gives up after a
while and Michele gets a groove going, but starts to get things completely
wrong. You can tell the pressure is getting to her and, in the end, she lets it
get the best of her as Kevin sneaks by and wins the PoV.
It’s almost as if you can hear America
screaming at their TV at the same time. According to recent RealityWanted
polls, Kevin and Natalie have finished in dead last in terms of popularity, so
seeing those two make the final three is nothing short of upsetting.
Back in the living room, Natalie says
that everything worked out the way it should have with the PoV, and yet she
says she’s not lying. But how can she be telling the truth if she wanted Kevin
out at the beginning of the week? Honestly, I thought Natalie had game at the
beginning of the competition, but now, she’s getting downright sloppy. The sad
part is that she can afford to, because she knows she going into the weakest
final three in Big Brother history.
But before Kevin can make his decision,
we flashback to earlier in the week, after Kevin won the PoV, to his thinking
about saving Michele instead of Jordan, since he needs a stronger competitor to
help take Natalie out.
Knowing this cast, though, you can’t
expect much, so it’s not surprising when Kevin evicts Michele anyway. And to
top it off, he gets all diva-faced about it. Michele never did anything wrong
to Kevin and now he’s acting like it was his job to get her out—the whole
eviction is turning into one big disaster.
Per the end of the season, the final HoH
competition starts as the episode nears an end, with the three semi-finalists
up on a log, each holding onto their key. The last person standing wins a bye
into the final round of the last HoH competition and a guaranteed spot in the
final two. As the credits roll, all three are hanging on strong (surprisingly).
Who will win the final HoH competition,
and who will they take with them to the final two? Be sure to tune in to Big
Brother 11 on Sunday at 8/7c on CBS to find out!
