Big Brother Season Nick Starcevic

by Nick Starcevic - Big Brother 8
(spoiler warning below)

Well, it's getting harder and harder to find people I want to win every week. Jeff and Jordan talked a couple weeks ago about how the other side of the house had the power and how they were acting like tyrants. Jeff and Jordan have now had the power for a fair share of weeks and have become polar opposites of the first half the season, when they were very well liked. I'm forced to root for Kevin now, which isn't a bad thing; just perplexing after how many weeks he was a non-entity within the house. If Russell leaves this week, Michelle would be smart to make a deal with Natalie and Kevin, being that she is the low-person on the totem pole with Jeff and Jordan. I think it would be a great move for her to try and get into the final two with one of Kevin or Natalie. This week's Head of Household competition will be a very important and will be pertinent in how things play out the rest of the season.

Week 7 RealityWanted Rankings:

(See Last Weeks Rankings HERE)

13th Braden (-)  Evicted

In the words of Braden himself, "Congratulations."

12th Laura (-)  Evicted

Big Brother savvy but not as much as Ronnie "The Lich King" Talbott.

11th Casey (-)  Evicted

DJ Mingle Mixx is now available for birthdays and bar mitzvahs.

10th Ronnie (-)  Evicted

Back to mining mithril and fighting paladins in Azeroth.

9th Jessie (-)  Evicted

You can find him in the jury house hammering out his quads and drinking protein shakes.

8th Chima (-) Evicted

No jury house for Chima, only a padded white room.

7th Lydia (-) Evicted

Back to one armed slalom skiing with Jessie, in the jury house.

6th Russell (-1)

It looks like Russell is about to "kick rocks", so to speak. He got "had" and will probably be going this week but not without some fireworks thrown into the mix. There is no doubt Jeff and Russell will continue to have words. They will at least both try to put together sentences, although, the sentences might not come to fruition. It is, however, assured they will not be without obscenities thrown at one another. I actually give Russell credit for making it a lot farther than I thought he would. Wouldn't it be fun if Russell actually stayed this week? It would make an entertaining storyline and isn't totally out of the question.

5th Jeff (-1)

Jeff did a solid job this week winning the Head of Household and then following it up with winning the power of veto. The part where he went wrong is acting like an idiot and going on a tirade. The one constant for the most part has been how well he has handled himself when faced with trying times but the week he is in control of the house, he gets baited into acting like a complete buffoon in front of the rest of the house. After this week, it may just be him and Jordan again.

4th Natalie (+2)

Natalie has become a lot more bearable for me, now that she's been weakened. She really doesn't have anyone left in the house, which is going to help her if one of her or Kevin wins Head of Household this week. If that comes to fulfillment, then they should bring Michelle in and get rid of either Jordan of Jeff this week. After seeing Natalie's interaction with her dad via the phone call, last week, she moved up a couple of notches in my toleration level.

3rd Jordan (-2)

Jordan has gotten a little catty this week and as I mentioned previously, some of the power has consumed her and Jeff. If she and Jeff go up on the block this week, then I'm not quite sure the house won't vote her out instead of Jeff. It's getting down to the wire here and I think you have to get rid of the most likable person in the house, which is Jordan, if you get the chance.

2nd Michelle (+2)

Michelle is still sitting very nicely from my point of view. She is tight with Jeff and Jordan but if Kevin or Natalie were to win Head of Household this week, I don't think she'd be the target. She might be losing her ally, in Russell, this week but that was inevitable. I still think that she will be in the final two when it all comes down to the end. She has played an awkward game at times but she has been strong when it's mattered.

1st Kevin (+2)

At the beginning of the season, word in the Big Brother casting circles was that Kevin was totally over the top and from what I gathered, would not be in the house that long. Obviously they saw something in Kevin that I haven't yet. If he was the eccentric guy they talked about, he has done a phenomenal job of laying back and taking everything in. From my own experience, being in the house can bring out the worst in people and Kevin has dealt with adversity really well whether it be losing his friends to eviction of being up on the block himself. He is still a legit contender at winning the whole thing.
