Hell's Kitchen Season 6

by Gina Scarpa

Tonight, on Hell’s Kitchen, the chefs will have to step up and impress Chef Ramsay since he decided not to eliminate anyone last week.  He decides that these people need to learn how to work together (fact) so he pairs everyone up.  Suzanne and Tennille as well as Van and Andy are just some of the chefs at odds that are now forced to work together. The chefs will have to make sausages and can’t help but laugh at the double meanings when talking about the meat.  How old are these people?

Surprisingly, the women pull ahead, even though many of them have little to no experience making sausage.  About halfway through the competition, Robert and Jim are the only team that hasn’t produced an acceptable sausage.  That worries me a bit, since I’m a fan of Jim’s.  I don’t know if they just can’t work together or can’t get this task done but come on already!  The girls end up winning, thanks in part to the pairing of Suzanne and Tennille.  As punishment, the blue team has to clean the dorms while the red team receives a party for their victory.

Upstairs, Dave receives some bad news about his injury that he sustained earlier.  The doctor wants to put him in a full cast and he won’t be able to move his thumb.  He needs that thumb for cooking!  He discusses his options with Chef Ramsay and decides to stay in the competition WITH the cast.  Thankfully, it’s his weaker hand but I can’t imagine how it won’t affect him in the kitchen.

For tonight’s dinner service, there are celebs in Hell’s Kitchen including: Drew Lachey, Dwight Freeney, Kristy Swanson, John O’Hurley, and Tom Green.  Jim is assigned to the front of the house tonight and seriously moves at a snail’s pace.  John O’Hurley sent his food back to the red kitchen, after feeling that his food was too salty.  The fault on that one lies with Tek and she seems completely overwhelmed by the prospect of just making some damn pasta!  Thanks to Tennille, the dish is sent back out, to John’s satisfaction.  Looks like somebody is  makin’ a comeback.

In the blue kitchen, Kevin steps up and shows off his cooking skills, turning out superb fish entrees.  Andy, on the other hand, is a bit of a disaster and Chef Ramsay rips him a new one for his undercooked lamb.  The men pull off a win, despite Andy, who should thank the stars above that his team members stepped up to the plate tonight.  Sabrina is named the best of the worst and nominates Lovely and Tek.  No explanation needed.  No surprise either when Lovely is eliminated from the competition.  Seems the third time's the charm when landing in the bottom.

Hell’s Kitchen airs Tuesday nights at 8pm ET on FOX.
