Winner of Hell's Kitchen Season 3

Welcome back! I would love to say this week of Hell’s Kitchen was drama filled, but for me, it wasn’t. I knew that Joseph would get sent home immediately. Chef Gordon “I’m no one’s bitch” Ramsay, the producers, and the well dressed security guards don’t allow that. I read and heard too many comments about how the guy would stay on because the show is in need of the drama. Conflict is a constant in restaurant life, as it is in HK, and even though threats and violence are just as prevalent in the real world, they are not tolerated on the set of HK.

I also figured Tony would be gone soon. I like the guy, I just think this competition isn’t for him. He claims to have “the palate of a God”, that may be true but it didn’t help you here. Good Luck in the future, and never quit Chef Tony.

The rest was just filler. I hate be vague, but I think with the start of the show being an extension of last week, two guys getting hurt and going to the hospital both lead to the producers cutting out some of what we would normally see in a day’s work. So, we really didn’t see as much as we wanted and it is reflected below.

Here are my rankings for this week, enjoy!

13. Lovely: The scarf remains and she does too. I’m just jonin’ (DC speak), but this is not her arena.

12. Tennille: Alright sis, I have been getting blasted for giving you what some deem as a pass! For that, I gotsta’ call you on your skills, or lack thereof. One thing you can’t do is take things personally. If there is too much oil in the pan, take it out, say thanks Suzanne and move on. Too many people on your station and calling your name? Get them out of there, take control and execute your food with your team, plain and simple. I think she will bounce back. But, being on the block for the first two weeks is ridiculous.

11. Robert: What can I say about Chef Rob? I think he is really good, but at this point on the show is unsure how to come back. Ramsay can’t show him favoritism, because people will cry foul. You can’t call your teammate (Andy) when YOU asked for his help on YOUR station. He will get better, I hope.

10. Sabrina: Not a lot here, I just picked a number for this week.

9. Andy: Chef Andy had some trouble with the garlic bread, I don’t think that is was as bad as they showed, but I do believe he had some trouble with it. Either way, if it were that bad, why did no one help? Anyway, he still seems overwhelmed to me. I could be wrong but the fact that he states “phew, made it” on his twitter page (@andyhusbands) leads me to believe that he is counting down his soon-to-be departure.

8. Amanda: Bison penis, 3 times 3 equals 6, “thick bitch”, 12 times 3 equals 9? Chef Tequila is on her way to being an HK legend. Hopefully she can get some cooking in there.

7. Jim: No shining in the kitchen, no shining quotes; you slippin’ dawg.

6. Tek: She still hasn’t come out yet. Could be good or could mean that she has no “spunk”. I think she will do well, but she has to assert herself.

5. Van: I knew all of that energy was good for something! He bounced back, almost too much at one point. Mood swings? Swollen muscles? Large head? Could Chef Van be the first cook under investigated for use of performance enhancing drugs? J My poor attempt at humor

4. Suzanne: I can’t she’s here because she knows that Tennille had too much oil for the scallops, I just think she is a kitchen rat. And that’s a compliment, btw.

3. Dave: I got him and Kevin mixed up last week, thanks for calling me on that. I think he is a soldier, and smart. Dave would not admit he was really injured, and he helped himself by taking the server job for the night; not really the hardest job to do with a bum hand. I’m mad they didn’t let him rock the beanie!

2. Kevin: Another soldier here, him limping to the pass was pretty cool. Even though his injury was due to him taking a leap on the last step, he won’t lose any points with me. Well, maybe a few. That was a jackass move, but he didn’t complain about it.

1. Ariel: I don’t think this comes as a surprise at all, she owned this entire episode. I personally think that Ramsay doesn’t care who wins the challenges, Ariel showed she can lead a team. She kicked ass in the kitchen and she isn’t insulting anyone along the way.

Next week should be better, from the show and from me. I’m gonna go ahead and predict who I think will be in the bottom two:

Men: Robert and Andy
Women:Lovely and Sabrina
Eliminated: Lovely
