On tonight’s episode of The Fashion Show, the designers are tested on their knowledge of seven iconic  designers that came before them.  The winner will receive a very valuable advantage in the elimination challenge – always worth playing for!  Haven is quickly eliminated, followed by Reco, Johnny, James-Paul, and Daniella.  Only Merlin and Anna got their first round questions right.  The other designers should be embarrassed.  Anna ends up winning, which is fitting since she’s a teacher.  I would hope she knows the answers!

Sticking with the theme of iconic designers, for tonight’s elimination challenge, the remaining seven contestants will have to design an outfit inspired by a fashion designer.  Anna will get to choose her designer and assign everyone else theirs as well.  She chooses Coco Chanel and doles out the rest: Haven gets Yves St. Laurent, Daniella gets Dior, Johnny gets Versace, Merlin gets Madame Gres (and doesn’t know who she is, yikes), James-Paul gets Pucci, and Reco is given Halston.

Isaac and Kelly stop in, make the rounds, and offer feedback.  Isaac criticizes Johnny for being eco-friendly.  He’s always tough on him then ends up liking what he does.  Isaac doesn’t seem to like that Reco put a corset on a Halson dress but Reco’s Reco.  He’s going to do what he wants.  Haven is pretty unsure of herself, the design, and where she’s going with it, which could come back to bite her.  Kelly and Isaac don’t seem sure that Anna’s design paying homage to Chanel.

Time for the show!  Haven is up first and though she was worried about her outfit, it comes out looking good.  Daniella’s next and I don’t love the outfit, nor do I see how it represents an iconic look.  Anna’s design hits the runway and she seems to know what she’s talking about.  There’s Reco’s corset and a flowing dress down the runway.  I hate the dress, not gonna lie.  I like the silhouette of Johnny’s design but could never rock the leather boustier.  James-Paul’s shirt is better than his skirt, that’s for sure.  Merlin is the last to go and I don’t know that I get the dress or what he was going for.

The top two designs went to Daniella, Anna, and Johnny.  Johnny is named the winner for really nailing that Versace look.  Haven and Reco land in the bottom and I’m little surprised since I liked Haven’s design but I’m no fashion expert.  An overwhelming majority of the audience said they wouldn’t buy Reco’s dress which spells trouble for him.  The panel thinks that Haven’s design was boring and she admits that maybe her look just didn’t translate.  In the end, the judges decided that they weren't buying Haven's look and sent her home.  Reco can either thank his superior sewing skills... or those tears he shed tonight.
