Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: What made you want to try out for this Hellish show?
A. Paula, Hells Kitchen Season 5: Honestly, it was a mixture of convenience and my cooks. There was a casting call right here in Ft Lauderdale and some of my cooks thought it would be funny to see me get yelled at.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: You know what you were getting yourself into right?
A. Paula, Hells Kitchen Season 5: I did watch a few episodes of past seasons and just thought these people are pathetic and can’t make a simple Caesar salad.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: I know you think differently now and as you know there are hundreds of viewers/chefs saying the same thing about you guys. Let’s hold your comments on that topic for now and talk to us about the ending.

Let’s get to the ending. When you were about to turn the door handle, did you think you had the win locked up?

A. Paula, Hells Kitchen Season 5: At the point of turning the door handle it was so late into the morning, I just wanted to finish it since I was so exhausted. I thought Danny was really strong, we both did well and it was a 50/50 deal.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: It does come down to Chef Ramsey’s opinion but is there any one thing that you think put you in second place?
A. Paula, Hells Kitchen Season 5: I think that’s impossible to answer. I don’t think I would have changed anything. I was super stoked with my teammates even though some of them could have been better.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: Um, you mean Lacey? She didn’t seem to change a thing after being sent home.
A. Paula, Hells Kitchen Season 5: When she went home she didn’t change anything about how she acted or reacted in the kitchen. She tried a little at first, but at the end she just gave up. All I could really do was try and help motivate her.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: Cast mates like Carol told me they hated the fact they did the show and basically regret doing it, what about you?
A. Paula, Hells Kitchen Season 5: I am very glad I did it and I think I represented myself with grace and skill. Yes, there is editing that goes on to create characters, but if you said or did things you regret that’s your fault.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: When I told friends and fans on Facebook I would be talking to you, someone chimed in and said they could handle Chef and put him in his place. What would your response to that statement be?
A. Paula, Hells Kitchen Season 5: I thought the same thing and the cooks in my kitchen had bets on how many times I would tell Chef Ramsay to go fuck himself. You go into this thinking you won’t put up with his bullshit, but when you get there he is very intimidating and comes at you full speed ahead.  I don’t care who you are you won’t talk back to chef. Right or wrong this is Chef Ramsey’s kitchen.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: I know I have to let you run in a minute, since our site follows everything non scripted what other shows do you follow?
A. Paula, Hells Kitchen Season 5: I love Top Chef, Kitchen Nightmares, and started to watch The Chopping Block before it was canceled. I also follow all the 20 something reality shows on MTV like Real World and so on.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: What’s next for you?
A. Paula, Hells Kitchen Season 5: I am still in Ft Lauderdale working in the kitchen at 30/30. I don’t really have a certain plane set to do anything different just yet.
