Last night, on Survivor: Tocantins, Debbie scrambled to get into an alliance with JT and Stephen.  Since the very beginning, she had been loyal to Coach but the more the game went on, the more she saw that it could be her demise… and it was.  At tribal council, though votes were thrown Coach’s and Taj’s way, it was Debbie who received enough to send her to the jury.  Today, she spoke to reporters in a conference call about her experiences on the show.  Read on to hear what she has to say and what she told RealityWanted was the "stupidest thing" in Survivor history!

Q. How much of a boost was it to see your husband?
A. Debbie: At that point, it had been almost 40 days before we had seen anybody.  Just seeing somebody from home was amazing.

Q. Would you have really been satisfied with third place?
A. Debbie: I really meant it honestly, at that point, because I knew my head was on the chopping block after Tyson was gone.  To me, third place would’ve been good.  If I had sat there with that immunity necklace, would I have done it?  I don’t know.  I’m not gonna lie and tell you I would’ve.  I don’t know.

Q. Regarding the whole incident with Sierra, did you know you were lying or what was your point of view?
A. Debbie: After 30-something days out there, seriously, when you’re not sleeping and you’re not eating… your brain does crazy things.  At certain points, I don’t remember what I said.  When we got into that, I don’t know if you heard but I actually did say and admit to JT and Stephen that I did try to check out options.  I did say that.  I really don’t think Coach thinks he lied either.  This is a game.  You don’t sign an oath that you’re going to be honest about everything, you know?

Q. What’s your overall impression of Coach?
A. Debbie: He is definitely a character!  Watching the show, I was like, “Woah!”  I didn’t know all that stuff was going on.  They take you very far away so you can’t hear what anybody says.  I’ll tell you, though, he’s sticking true to his word.  I felt pretty crappy watching the episode last night.  At one point, I had even approached him about taking JT and Stephen out because I thought they were running the game and he said, “Absolutely not, I gave them my word.”  He believes he’s playing this game with integrity and he believes he’s not lying.

Q. Why did Timbira fall apart?
A. Debbie: Two of our strongest players, Tyson and Brenda, started second guessing each other.  They were both huge physical threats and they went after each other.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: We really didn’t get to know much about you until after the merge.  When you watch the episodes back, do you wish you got more camera time?
A. Debbie: Not really.  I was just being true to myself and really playing the game.  I was referred to as flying under the radar.  I was out there playing hard.  Coach, Tyson and I formed an alliance on day 3.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: When did you make the decision to bail on your alliance with Coach?
A. Debbie: About two to three days prior to what you saw last night.  What you didn’t see was the rest of the tribe approached me and said, we gotta take Coach out.  He’s driving everybody nuts.  I felt like that’s what I needed to do to save myself but look where I am.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Why the heck did the Timbira tribe let JT, Stephen, and Taj make it as far as they did?
A. Debbie: I think we’re gonna go down as the stupidest tribe in Survivor history.  I mean, we had the numbers.  What were we thinking?  As soon as the merge occurred, they started getting Tyson and Brendan to disturst each other.  They started panicking and we ended up throwing Brendan out and we started turning on each other!  Stupid.
