Robert from Hell's Kitchen on FOX
Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: Robert, great to chat with you today. So start out by telling us how you found out about Hells Kitchen.
A: Robert, Hell’s Kitchen 5: Heather West who won season 2 was actually a pastry chef at a restaurant I worked at. I assumed if she won I could win, so it turned into a mission.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: How or why did you end up Hell’s Kitchen?
A: Robert, Hells Kitchen 5: I went to an open casting call in Manhattan one day and the rest is history.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: What was the casting process for Hells Kitchen like?
A: Robert, Hells Kitchen 5: The casting experience was pretty smooth. There are thousands that apply who think they can hang with Ramsay. The lines are long and the applications are a pain in the ass, but if you want it, you gotta hang with it. When you get called back you feel like you got the golden ticket just like on American Idol.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: After you got your golden ticket I am sure life was different after you started working in Hells Kitchen. What was working for Chef Ramsay like?
A: Robert, Hells Kitchen 5: It’s like cooking with a loaded gun to your head. It’s a modern day gladiator arena. What you see is hell and Ramsay was the devil..

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: Some people wished they never went on Hells Kitchen, such as Carol, what about you?
A: Robert, Hells Kitchen 5: Hells Kitchen was the best experience I have ever done. It’s one of the stories I will be telling to my grandkids.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: You had to leave early for medical reasons, that must have been a real let down.
A: Robert, Hells Kitchen 5: It was literally a heat breaker, I never give up and to have something like this snatched away was very hard. I could have worked on my weight and prevented it but it happened. I would love to go prove myself again, this seasons winner will have wonder if they could have beat me.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: How are you today?
A: Robert, Hells Kitchen 5: Today I feel like I am on track to a healthy lifestyle, I lost 50 pounds since the show and slotted to have gastric bypass in the next month.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: What are you doing now and future plans?
A: Robert, Hells Kitchen 5: I am opening a new restaurant with Seth in East Hampton and I have another restaurant project in NY doing a lot of pro athlete catering. You would be surprised at how many pro athletes love to watch Hells Kitchen.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: We are about out of time, how can people reach out to you? How can people find you?
A: Robert, Hells Kitchen 5: Right now you can find me on Facebook and I have a webpage coming soon.
