We recently had the opportunity to speak with Brandi Mahon the winner of Vh1’s hit Reality show “Charm School”. Brandi, originally from upstate New York moved to Las Vegas about 3 years ago and is currently traveling and hosting events.

Q. RealityWanted.com: So how did you end up on Rock of Love with Bret Michaels?

A. Brandi M, Charm School: The casting directors actually found me. I didn’t know who I was going to be dating, they just told me a rock star, so I was relieved when I found out it was going to be Bret Michaels.

Q. RealityWanted.com: So what are your thoughts on Bret Michaels?

A. Brandi M, Charm School: Bret is an amazing man and no he isn’t going bald. He has a scar from his accident and he covers it up with the bandana.

Q. RealityWanted.com: What made you try out for Charm School?

A. Brandi M, Charm School: I heard about the show and thought it would be a great opportunity for me. I was happy to hear that Sharon Osbourne was on the show. The show changed my life, the unfortunate part is that I have had people try to take advantage of my because I won the $100,000.

Q. RealityWanted.com: So what have you done with the money you won?

A. Brandi M, Charm School: I purchased a used certified Nissan Maxima. I donated a bunch to charities and helped out my family. I also cleaned up some debt, so my credit is better now and did some traveling.

Q. RealityWanted.com: What did you think about the other girls on Charm School?

A. Brandi M, Charm School: I despise Megan Hauserman! I loath her, she is very heartless and shallow, it’s not a character she plays. She thinks she is better than everyone. I still stay in touch with some of the other girls like Kristy Jo, Catherine, Destiney, Dallas and Ina.

Q. RealityWanted.com: Did you think you were going to win Charm School?

A. Brandi M, Charm School: No, I was on the carpet five times and always thought I was going home. I was glad to be with Destiney in the end, she is great.

Q. RealityWanted.com: What did you do to win?

A. Brandi M, Charm School: I was just myself. I just kept it real and I feel I changed a lot throughout the show. I learned a lot while I was on the show like manners and properly speaking. I also learned how to act in public.

Q. RealityWanted.com: So are you dating anyone now?

A. Brandi M, Charm School: I am single. It is hard to date people.

Q. RealityWanted.com: So what are you up to now? Any new reality shows?

A. Brandi M, Charm School: I have been doing appearances and cocktailing at Wasted Space at The Hard Rock. I am also going back to school for interior design.
