This week, Make Me a Supermodel starts with a jolt – Tyson is playing drill sergeant and waking everyone up at the crack of dawn. The models-to-be get in a military truck and the destination is unknown. They arrive at a huge battleship, the USS New Jersey, for today’s photo shoot which is all about breaking the rules. Joshua Kogan, the photographer, has them portraying military personnel sneaking off for a sexual fantasy. Instead of just being sexy duos, they’re doing ménage a trois! Jordan and Amanda are paired with Brendan. While the girls hate, Brendan literally jumped for joy. Sexy military uniforms literally left a few of the models speechless. 

Mountaha, Sandhurst, and Gabriel were steamy – maybe even too steamy for Mountaha to handle. Then they put Gabriel in the model Brendan was so looking forward to being in the middle of the two girls, but in the end he got pushed to the side and was just the voyeur to their private moment. Colin, Salome, and Laury started out withdrawn, but finished with strong photos using tongue even! Colin shined, despite his virginity and awkwardness. Jonathan is worried because he’s married, but in the end had amazing photos. CJ had trouble because she was so uncomfortable she kept giggling. In the end, my favorite of the bunch was CJ’s group though. In the end, Jonathon won the challenge and is going on an underwear line go-see, along with Gabe. 

Meanwhile, the models get a surprise measurement visit. Most are the same, with Kerryn and Amanda losing some. But Mountaha and Salome gained weight. The house also gets a surprise phone call – Jonathan got the 2(x)ist underwear job! He is now a working model. 

The Catwalk Challenge is essentially cross-dressing: men in dresses and women in skinny suits. CJ’s talk to the camera made me really doubt her place in the competition – how can you be a supermodel and not feel comfortable when looked at? Kerryn rocked the catwalk, getting a “wow” and “that’s what I’m talking about” from the judges. Gabriel showed some emotion and finally smiled on the catwalk. Both Amanda and Jordan did the thumb in their pants thing, like guys do with their belts. I think Jordan pulled it off better. 

In the elimination, Jonathon and Kerryn are strongest this week, with Kerryn winning immunity. She’s the first person to win immunity twice, which is pretty impressive. Sandhurst and Mountaha are safe, though have learned where to draw the line between sexy and raunchy. CJ and Gabe are the bottom two. CJ because of her attitude and lack of confidence. Gabe because he needs a bigger presence. Finally, CJ is going home. While she’s pretty and has a great body, I never saw her as making it very far in this competition. She’s too uncomfortable and unwilling to adapt for photo shoots. Even in her closing monologue, she pulled out the attitude.
