The fact that CBS is not displaying pit stop release times for the bottom 5 active teams is not good, but we will survive this leg because all teams head for the Central Railway Station to get tickets for a train to Novosibirsk. It appears that the producers wanted to showcase Siberia in the dark and they wanted all team bunched on the same train, because they passed up several earlier trains and forced them onto the 10:26pm train. There is no such train in the TransSiberian Railway schedule, but no matter. Such a train would arrive around 1130am in Novosibirsk. On the train it is clear that Margie/Luke have caved to the group pressure and admitted that they were the perpetrators of the Blind U-Turn on Amanda/Kris.
 
 Teams arrive at Novosibirsk and find the DETOUR Russian Bride or Russian Snowplow.  Russian Bride requires self-driving a Lada regular transmission auto to find a “bride” (read actress) at the address #4 of a major apartment block and in the apartment #14. They must give the bride a bouquet and transport her to a specific church where some guys in Russian army jackets, one of whom is her “groom” . After a photo of the teammates in it with the bridge and groom, the Groom gives the next clue. This task requires navigation skills in a unfamiliar city with Cyrillic language. I would  have picked it if I were racing. Russian Snowplow requires going to Stadion Spartak and look for the snowplow obstacle course. Each team selecting this DETOUR has to have each one drive around the course without bumping into the tire piles which are the edge of the course under the guidance of the other teammate and then switch roles. None of the teams which did this seemed to have any difficulty with it. Christie/Jodi were directed by a local to the wrong church, so that cost them precious time. Jenner is not the world’s best stick/shift driver and stalled out the Lada multiple times.

Teams are next directed to the Biblioteka. I don’t know Russian but in French Biblioteque is Library I am betting this destination is a Library (and one with an unusually long Cyrillic name). Teams find a ROADBLOCK which requires them to strip to their underwear and run a 1.4 mile course in 25 degrees Fahrenheit temperature after doing a 10 minute warmup. They will each have 2 fully clad local students running with them as escorts. For the voyeur, the views of Christie, Jennifer, Tammy and especially Cara were interesting. I guess women might say the same of Luke, Michael (of Mel/Michael) and Mark but maybe not. This was not a difficult run and each runner finished in the order they started. That did not change with the clue to go inside in the State Academy Opera and Ballet Theatre where Phil was waiting in the balcony. Only the first and last teams had a tiny prima ballerina dance briefly for them and say “Welcome to Novosibirsk."

The final order of the teams is Luke, Tammy, Cara, Michael, Mark, Jennifer and finally Christie. Christie/Jodi were fortunate to have this a non-elimination leg. They were told by Phil Keoghan that next leg they will have an extra task to do that no other team will have. This speed bump will be difficult to overcome because they typically cost about 30 minute
