Survivor Tocantins

Tonight’s episode of Survivor: Tocantins kicks off with Erinn’s remorse over voting Candace off at the last tribal council.  I don’t know if it’s remorse exactly or fear speaking, since she chose to align herself with the completely wrong person in this game.  Erinn isn’t the only Timbira member worried about her place in the tribe.  Jerry hasn’t been feeling well and he has noticeably slowed down.  Any smart tribe in Survivor would vote out their weakest members first so these two must be praying they win tonight’s immunity challenge.

The Jalapao tribe may have won fishing gear at the last reward challenge but they’re not exactly doing a bang up job catching anything.  Hopefully, they’ll be able to use tonight’s reward better, should they win the challenge: a tarp, umbrella, pillows, blankets, chairs, and a hammock.  Man, this isn’t Survivor.  That’s a damn resort!  For the challenge, six members of teach tribe will be blindfolded and tied together in pairs.  The remaining tribe member will call out directions as the players make their way through a maze.  They’ll have to first collect water, than corn, fill the containers, and raise their team flag to win.  Despite the fact that Deborah screamed the entire time to help Timbira get ahead, it was the Jalapao tribe that walked away the victor.

Jalapao sends Brendan to “Exile Island” (it’s not an island, okay?) and he takes Taj along with him for the second time.  Spencer doesn’t seem to be too concerned that the same people are being sent but that could just be naivete.  Brendan and Taj decide to form a super secret alliance.  He’ll pull in Sierra and she’ll bring Stephen on board and, once they get past the merge, nobody will even see them coming.  Clever…

Tonight’s immunity challenge is not for the weak, mentally or physically.  Tribes will have to roll gigantic crates across a playing field, then stack them to spell either Jalapao or Timbira.  The crates will form a staircase and, when all the members are at the top, they win.  Erinn does a pretty decent job leading Timbira to figure out how the crates stack up but when her tribe starts questioning her, they slow down.  That leaves an opening for Jalapao to pull ahead and they win yet another challenge!

No surprises back at Timbira.  Jerry and Erinn are the main two people up for elimination.  While everyone strategizes, Brendan sneaks away and finds the hidden immunity idol, which was stashed right inside the wooden carving that holds the tree mail.  At tribal, Erinn and Coach face off after she says that he’s not the tribe leader and he says that there is a personality clash.  Though it looks like she might be the one to leave, the tribe votes out McSicky and sends Jerry home instead.

Don’t miss Jerry’s exclusive interview, coming this week on RealityWanted!
