The twelve finalists from last night sang Neo’s "Closer" for the show opener and I really enjoyed it. Hey was that Nick Mitchell in normal attire? He looked great! But honestly the one guy I couldn’t take my eyes off of was Adam Lambert. He’s definitely got that "it" factor!

Was it my imagination or did Allison Iraheta sing that Heart song even BETTER than she did last night (if that’s even possible)?

Tonight’s guest performance was the always lovely always enjoyable Brooke White from Season 7 singing her first single "Hold Up My Heart".

These are the contestants no longer remaining in the competition unless they return during the wildcard show ~ Jesse Langseth, Matt Breitzke, Matt Giraud, Jeanine Vailes, Megan Joy Corkrey, Nick Mitchell, Jasmine Murray, Kai Kalama, and Mishavonna Henson. I think that America did a good job choosing this week (and I personally thank you for putting through my number one favorite Adam Lambert).

These are the contestants I’d like to see return for one more shot during the wildcard show ~ Mishavonna Henson, Kai Kalama, and Nick Mitchell (singing in regular attire with his real voice – no comedy). I’m curious aren’t you?
