I Love Money 2 Recap, Episode 2, Broken promises, hearts and hands!

As soon as their eyes peel open, each team started strategizing.  Although Onix was chosen to be on the Green Team – he shares a bedroom with members of the Gold Team.  As the Gold Team discussed game play, Onix took the bait to betray his own team. Onix agreed to throw the competition that day, which would make his own team lose.  Hmmm…I remember Onix agreeing to “no bitchassness” when T-Weed picked him as a team member.  But Onix proudly stated that he’ll be a “double agent”…a.k.a. snake.

Buddha chatted with Leilene and Saaphyri as Leilene professed her love for him.  Buddha used the confession as a chance to gain her favor and muttered that he likes her too.  Later, he confessed that it’s impossible that he would go for someone like Leilene with her hoe-ish tendencies and limited intellect.  True, but dayyum Buddha give the girl a break!

A wall mounted photo of Craig the host mechanically spoke to both teams with instructions for the day’s challenge.  The groups were told to elect a new team captain and get suited up in competition gear.  The Gold Team shifted the leadership to Heat and the Green Team chose Myammee.

The two teams met Craig at the beach to find a crane holding a boxing ring above water!  Craig stated that the challenge was based on the boxing match from season one of “I Love New York” when Chance almost knocked Mr. Boston over the top ring.  Today, the first person to get knocked down or nearly over the edge - loses.  When one team chooses a fighter, the 2nd team gets the advantage of picking someone who can beat that person.  The best of 7 matches would determine the winning team.

The fight that we’ve all been waiting for popped off first.  The Gold Team chose their prized teammate – The Entertainer.  Who else would the Green Team pick to fight The Entertainer but his biggest rival Buddha?  Both boys went at it full force, but Buddha knocked The Entertainer to the floor and won the round!  Ding ding ding…wait...what’s this?...Buddha started kneeing The Entertainer in the ribs!  The Entertainer cried about the unfairness of Buddha’s extra jabs.  But the point is that ET was on the floor first – and THEN Buddha took his little cheap shots.  Buddha ends the beat down spewing that he wants to kick ET in the face…bitch!  Whoooaa whoa…we all know that Buddha is NOT all talk…time to get these boys back on dry land!

Next, the Green Team chose their fighter first.  Myammee picked Ice and the Gold Team decided that Tailor Made would be a good match for her.  Although Tailor Made won the match he admitted that he wasn’t sure he’d be able to knock down a girl.

The first picking choice is back on the Gold Team and they sent It’ into the ring.  The Green Team deems Bonez bad enough to beat him…and surprisingly he did!  Myammee and the Green Team put T-Weed up to box and the Gold Team sent 20 Pack in as his contender.  These guys put up a fight and “T-Weed swinging with the seaweed.” In the meantime 20 Pack broke his hand while doing his victory punch.  The following girl fight got some cheers, but Cali from the Gold Team kicked Green Team Milf’s tail.

Next up, the Green Team sent Onix to fight for their honor.  But wait!  Remember Onix made a deal with the opposing team to throw the challenge.  So, what does Heat do to support his and Onix’s secret alliance???  Heat sent lightweight Prancer into the ring to box Onix.  I don’t agree with Onix being a rat, BUT how is he supposed to stand by his promise of “accidentally losing” when Heat put him up against a skinny little girl!

Onix pussyfooted around the ring for a while until it became obvious to his own team that he was trying to throw the competition.  The fight lasted a ridiculously long time and Onix’s acting skills stunk.  Finally, Onix knocked Prancer down.  Unfortunately for him, Onix stabbed himself with a double edged sword.  He didn’t uphold his promise to the Gold Team to lose and blatantly showed his own team that he was a “double agent”.

The score was tied at 3 and the tiebreaking fight went down between the captains. Only after Buckwild refused to fight Heat and blatantly called Myammee out for not fighting yet! So, Heat and Myammee got it on.  Babygirl stood strong, but Heat (who wrestles in real life) got Myammee to the ground.  The Gold team won the entire competition and the Green team berated Onix for his outright betrayal.  Buckwild did her thing; yelling, cursing and even called Onix a bitch.

The losing team of any competition gathers in “the Vault”.  In the Vault, Craig assists the losing team in choosing three of their own team members for elimination.  However, it is the opposing teams captain (the Paymaster) who makes the final decision of whom to send home out of that three.  If the team inside the vault can’t decide on the bottom three within 15 minutes, then the opposing team chooses the three for them.

Green Team Captain Myammee called out each Green Team member’s name and they voted against each other when their choice name was called.  Leilene was devastated when Buddha put his hand in the air when her name was called.  There goes that love affair. The three with the most votes were Onix, Leilene and Buckwild.

Buckwild had other plans.  She tried to “stall” for fifteen minutes so that a decision could not be made – and the elimination choosing power would shift to the other team.  Buckwild put on a hoopin’, hollerin’ show and was begging Leilene to join in her efforts.  Leilene just stood there and Buckwild was defeated.  With less than a minute to go, the original decision by the Green Team became concrete.  Onix, Leilene and Buckwild will go up for elimination.

Back in the room, Buck was tearing Leilene a new one for not helping her stall the clock. Buckwild was convinced that stalling would make her team lose the chance to pick anyone for elimination.  Then the Gold team would have the opportunity to put up…Buddha!  Why does everyone hate Buddha?

Leilene is bawling and Buckwild tells her not to quit.  WAIT.  The heavens opened up and the light came on! Buck changes her mind.  She tells Leilene that is she voluntarily quits the game then the Gold Team would be able to pick another person from their Green Team to be eliminated…which would be Buddha.  Buckwild called in their Charm School buddy Saaphyri who was down for the plan.  Leilene was feeling serious pressure from both girls.  Finally, they convinced Leilene as she cried that her heart is already breaking (over Buddha? Huh?) and losing their friendship would be too much for her.  Saaphyri and Buckwild made Leilene pinky swear that she would not tell a soul about the plan.

The three up for elimination had one last chance to win the favor of the Paymaster (the opposing team’s captain) Heat.  Heat, Onix, Leilene and Buckwild sail off into the sun and spend some quality time together.  Suddenly, Leilene is sobbing and threatening to tell Heat the secret.  Buckwild is p.o’d but there was no stopping Leilene – she spilled the beans.

The three went on to swing high and low on Heat’s cojones in an effort to not be his choice for elimination.  But Leilene pulled some tricks out of her stripper’s bag.  Literally.  During her one-on-one with Heat, Leilene professed her love for him and a hot hoe make-out session ensued.

Back on land, Buckwild told Saaphyri that Leilene jumped ship on the plan.  Saaphyri ran back to her Gold Team and revealed her and Buckwild’s intended plan.  When they learned that Heat and Leilene made-out – the new plan was to have Heat convince Leilene to quit.  Note:  They all wanted her to quit so that the Gold Team can choose Buddha to take her place and then vote him out!  Grrrr!!!  Right before elimination time, Heat met up with Leilene and tried to convince her to quit the game.

Onix, Buckwild and Leilene line up in front of Craig and the “Paymaster” Heat for the elimination ceremony.  Immediately, Leilene and Buckwild started arguing about the “quit plan”.  Finally, Leilene stood up for herself and stated that she was not going to quit.  She is applauded then Heat chose Buckwild and Leilene to officially stay in the game.  Heat saw nothing wrong with expecting Onix to “secretly” lose a boxing match to a girl without Onix’s own team catching on.  Heat told Onix that the name of the game is loyalty.  Uh ya right!  See you next week!
