On this week's episode of The Bachelor, Jason shocked the contestants when he decided that he could not give out the final rose at the ceremony.  As Megan, Shannon, and Lauren stood and waited for him to call the final name out, he put the rose down and said that he couldn't lead anyone on any longer.  The three were eliminated and sent home, without any explanation as to why they were not right for him.  In this week's Bachelor conference call, Megan, a 25-year-old lacrosse coach from Pennsylvania, opened up to reporters about her experiences on the show.

Q. ETOnline.com: Do you really think you made a connection with Jason or do you get caught up in the competition?
A. Megan: I do not think I made a connection with Jason.  I think I made a much bigger connection with the fellow women on the show.  I think that he made an initial connection with the girls right off the bat and when he saw that emotions were running high, he basically stuck to what he knew.

Q. ETOnline.com: If you could do it over again, would you change anything?
A. Megan: Yes, the first night was horrbile for me.  I have spent the last 2 years in solitude.  I felt, going into the show, that I was socially inept.  I was not social, during the pregnancy and after.  The first night was so rough for me.  I think I was so nervous and they keep handing you cocktails.  I don't go out much anymore, I don't have too much of a tolerance for alcohol.  the first night is something I would do all over again.

Q. ETOnline.com:
Would you consider being The Bachelorette?
A. Megan: I really would like some time of career in broadcast, and I would like to have the experiences that come along with being a bachelorette.  I don't think I could do it.  I would kind of feel like... a ho.

Q. RealityTVWorld.com:
Based on your reaction after the first twist vote, it seems like you were surprised.  Is that accurate?
A. Megan: Uh yeah, I guess it was pretty accurate.  That's at about 6 in the morning.  It was way past my bedtime.  I think, along with being stressed and tired and not even wanting to be there that late, I was just dismayed.  It was hurtful.  Rejection is always hurtful among people that you are having a good time with.  I think that was a natural response.

Q. RealityTVWorld.com: Is there anything that you think may have rubbed the girls the wrong way?
A. Megan: I think that I really had my guard up that first night.  Just because what I've been through the last 2 years with my son's father.  I have a little bit of an edge.  I think it was nothing more than a defense mechanism.  I wanted more than anything just to have fun.  It wasn't very easy for me to open up that first night.  I was very skeptical of the whole process.

Q. RealityTVWorld.com: Did you vote for Melissa?
A. Megan: I did because she's so cute and so fun.  I love her and I'm thinking, "She's probably my biggest competition," so that's how I voted and she knows that.  I think it's nothing but a compliment to her?

Q. BuddyTV.com: What things about Jason did you like the most?
A. Megan: Well, one thing I will say is that seeing a man who loves his child so much is a very attractive thing.  I didn't have that with my ex and so seeing a man who just loved his son so much and put his son first - it was definitely the number one most attractive thing about him.  I have a lot of respect for men who can do that.

Q. BuddyTV.com: What did you like the least?
A. Megan: I couldn't read him.  Every conversation he had with all of us was kind of the same.  I really can't put my finger on it.  He was not giving that much and, watching it in hindsight, he really wasn't giving that much to anybody.

Q. RealityWanted.com: Does it surprise you how quickly the girls got attached and were convinced they would marry a man they didn't even know?
A. Megan: Yes, it does but what I always told myself in the process when I would start to get irritated with it, we all come from different place.  We all have different ideas of what love is.  I think that it's kind of cute to see that Melissa could so easily have feelings for someone.  It's very genuine I feel.  I wish I could be that way.  Unfortunately, I can't.

Q. RealityWanted.com: Was it obvious to you who Jason had a connection with and who he did not?
A. Megan: I thought it was very obvious from the beginning who he had a connection with and who he didn't.  Now, in hindsight, it's the most outgoing girls.  That's not easy for me.  I knew right away he had a connection with Jillian and with Molly.

Q. RealityWanted: Do you think a single mother, like Stephanie who is still in the game, has any advantage over another woman in the competition?
A. Megan: I actually still have the mindset that the single mothers on the show were at a disadvantage.  Psychologically and emotionally for the child, it's a lot to do to them.  For all of us, it would be very difficult to just kind of have that immediate: "Oh we're moving in, we're automatically a family."  It's just a lot more baggage.  I don't think she has an advantage, being a single mother. I think her loving, compassionate personality gives her an advantage of any of the other women.
