Considering how much drama Megan causes on ABC's The Bachelor, it was a little surprising that Jason decided to give her yet another chance. On the very first episode, the other women in the house voted her as the person who should go home. Despite the fact that just about everyone wants her gone, Jason continues to keep her around. Good television, perhaps? On last week's episode, he sent Erica and Kari home instead after a very uncomfortable rose ceremony, in which the women confronted each other in front of Jason and host, Chris Harrison. After being eliminated, Kari opened up about her time on the show during a press conference call.
Kari couldn't help but admit that she was one of the people surprised that Megan stayed, but also tried to see things from both sides. "I was a little surprised that night that Megan didn't go home, just because of a little bit of the drama that was going on in the house," she said. "But, I did see the connection between Megan and Jason. I think he definitely had feelings of attraction towards her and that's why he kept her."
While several girls were given the opportunity to head out on one-on-one dates with Jason, such as Melissa and Stephanie, Kari was not one of the lucky few. In fact, she hardly had any time with him at all and therefore, it became nearly impossible to form a lasting connection. "I was disappointed that I didn't get a one-on-one date and I think I would've been able to be myself a little bit more if it was just me and him instead of me and seven other girls," she admitted. "When it came to fighting for attention, usually I'm the one that has the attention right away when you're just on a one-on-one date with a guy. It was a little bit of a different situation that I had never been in before."
Since leaving the show, Kari has decided to focus on herself and wait to get into a new relationship. "My exit aired [this past] Monday and I'm just kinda taking it slow and haven't found a guy yet," she said. Kari says that she has every intention of watching the rest of the season to see how things play out and also threw her support behind Stephanie to win Jason's heart.
