Being one of many women fighting for Jason Mesnick's attention is tough enough.  Finding out that not every one will get to go on a date with him each week on ABC's The Bachelor is even worse.  This season, things are a little different and each week, a select number of women will find themselves without any time to let Jason connect with or get to know them.   Such was the case for Sharon who, on last week's episode, could not seem to get a second alone with him.  Without a strong connection, Sharon found herself without a rose and on her way home.  Last week, after her elimination, she spoke to the press in a conference call and opened up about her experience on the show.

It's always interesting when a group of women show up on The Bachelor and are ready to settle down and marry a man they don't even know.  For Sharon, it was difficult for her to pinpoint exactly how she felt about Jason, given their limited time together.  "I was kind of uncertain about the chemistry with Jason," she admitted.  "I knew that I liked him, but I wasn't sure how he felt about me."   While many girls were ready to buy a plane tickets to Seattle and plan their dream wedding with a virtual stranger, Sharon kept a level head.  "Honestly, I feel like I didn't have enough time to answer the question as to whether I would be able to marry him or not.
If feelings had developed between the two of us, yeah.  I like Seattle," she said when asked if she would have taken the plunge wiht Jason.  "I would've had to think about it seriously the more I went through the process but fortunately, I didn't have to do that."

Sharon first connected with Jason on her first night at the mansion.  As she got out of the limo, she grabbed him and pulled him in for a quick salsa dance.  "I wanted to do something that stood out and I knew he was into dancing," she told the press. "I had heard that he had done ballroom dancing so I thought that it would probably get his attention.  With not everyone being asked on dates each week and only one Jason to go around, the girls quickly turned to catty behavior and instigated dramatic fights.  On last week's episode, in a moment alone with The Bachelor, Nikki insinuated tha some of the women were there for the wrong reasons.  During her conference call, Sharon jumpedto the defense of the contestants saying, "I'm not sure who she got that vibe from but it seemed like they were all there for the right reasons, to me."

In order to come on the show, Sharon had to leave her teaching job, calling it "the hardest decision I've ever had to make."  When asked by a reporter if she would go through the experience of being on The Bachelor for a moment before saying that she would, as long as it didn't affect her career again.  Sharon says that, these days, life is prety good.  "I'm just spending a lot time hanging out with family and friends.  I would say: things are going very well."  She is currently single and says that she will keep tuning into The Bachelor, saying, "I don't know what happens.  I'm very curious to see who he picks in the end."
