Cloris Leachman Survives Another Week On Dancing With The Stars
By: Mary Cavaliere

This week they featured a dance from last night for a second time, and I was happy to see that they picked Lance & Lacey’s tango.  The curse on Sir Dancelot has been broken!!!!!

The first guest performers for the night were “7 guys with 6 packs” as Tom Bergeron so eloquently put it.  Their real name I didn’t catch – Los Flamingos or something like that?  I didn’t get these guys dressed up in matador outfits dancing like the Irish guys we saw last year on the show.  Shirtless or not, they didn’t do much for me.

What I did find really entertaining were the “political” ads about each of the stars. These humorous parodies were perfect given the 2008 Presidential election in three weeks.  My favorite was the one against Cloris Leachman which was “paid for by the Dancing With The Stars Accounting Department”.

I also really enjoyed the ballroom kids Mitchell & Jessica and Kirill & Anna.  Who could possibly pick a winner between these two couples?  I certainly couldn’t, but I guess the judges have to and they picked Kirill & Anna, which to me was obvious because they are older and have better technique as a result of their age.

The second guest performer was Neo.  I liked his dancers, and that’s all I’m going to say.

As for elimination, I’m sure it was no surprise to anyone that Rocco DiSpirito was forced to head home.  So once again Cloris Leachman has survived another week!
