Clark Gilmer Americas Next Top Model

Interview with Clark Gilmer from America's Next Top Model Cycle 11

Recently we had the opportunity to speak with Clark Gilmer from America's Next Top Model. Clark, a 19 year old student who currently resides in Columbia, South Carolina, competed and was recently eliminated from the show.

Q. What made you want to be on America's Next Top Model?

A. Clark Gilmer, Top Model: I was on the internet and saw that they were accepting applications. I applied at the last minute and ended up getting on the show.

Q. What did you learn while being on the show?

A. Clark Gilmer, Top Model: I had experience modeling before but realized what I learned before went out the window. I had modeling knowledge but I learned a lot by working with the best.

Q. What are your thoughts on Joslyn? How about Sheena?

A. Clark Gilmer, Top Model: I guess they saw she had more energy or personality on the photo shoots. I don’t really care for Sheena. She is trashy.

Q. Do you have any regrets?

A. Clark Gilmer, Top Model: No regrets. I am blunt and honest. I say what I am thinking, I am a extremely straight forward person.

Don't READ about it BE ABOUT IT - Apply NOW TO BE ON REALITY TV! Ya, It really works

Q. Did you have a problem with Isis being on the show?

A. Clark Gilmer, Top Model: Me and Isis got along. It was new to me to be around a transgendered woman. I really had only heard about that in my psychology class.

Q. What do you think makes a good model?

A. Clark Gilmer, Top Model: I am a confident girl, not cocky. I model and I know the parts I am good at and the areas I am bad at. It has to start with you. You have to believe in yourself.

Q. Did you like the makeover you received?

A. Clark Gilmer, Top Model: I feel smarter now as a brunette, but people don’t joke with me as much as they did when I was blond.

Q. Who do you think had the least potential out of all the girls on the show?

A. Clark Gilmer, Top Model: I think Marjorie and Isis. I don’t think Isis is going to go anywhere in modeling.

Q. Are you going to continue a career in modeling?

A. Clark Gilmer, Top Model: Yes, I am going to pursue a career in modeling for sure. I am a fierce competitor.

Q. Jason, (RealityWanted.com): We run a reality TV Casting website. Do you have any pointers for applicants that are thinking about trying out for the show? Did you do anything that you think got you on the show?

A. Clark Gilmer, Top Model: Be yourself. Don’t tell them what they want to hear. Be honest. I got a callback because I was honest. I didn’t go in there with a sob story. I told them I was not applying for fame or fun. Just go balls to the wall. No regrets.

Q. Who do you see winning the competition?

A. Clark Gilmer, Top Model: I think Elina, I am in awe of her great jaw bone structure. Also Bri, she is going to do great and I can see her going far.
