This recap will be short and succinct. That is because America voted in perfect harmony with what I thought should happen and there were no judges' decision to screw it up. This was done as Piers Morgan requested, with emphasis on talent and minimal weight given to sentimentality or "heart" (although the top 5 have plenty of that).
The top five are:
Nuttin but Stringz
Queen Emily
Neal E. Boyd
Donald Brasswell
Eli Mattson
It was the end of the line for:
the Wright Kids
Joseph Hall
Kaitlyn Maher
Paul Salos
Jessica Price
There was no suspense here, as the first 4 choices each way were appropriate. The only suspense was who would be paired for #5/#6 and who was voted #5. That was Eli Mattson over Jessica Price. Each of the top 4 losers had less talent than their each of the top 4 on the winners list. God Bless America!
Next Wednesday the top 5 will compete, but the result is probably going to be only one or two eliminations since the last competition show is Oct. 1, the following week.
