Big Brother 10 Episode 5 Recap- Keesha Wants Libra Out!

Words by Nikki Maria

As you know by now, Jessie has nominated Steven and Dan for eviction. Steven wasn't surprised about being nominated, but hurt by everyone wanting him out of the house. The "Jessie Alliance" believes that Steven is a threat because (a) he was aligned with Brian from the very beginning, which is a no-no and (b) he's a strong competitor.

Jessie and Dan have a private conversation after the nomination ceremony; Jessie tells Dan that he has a lot of respect for him for standing by Brain until he left the house. And because of Dan's loyalty to Brian, Jessie believes he can trust him in terms of exploring ideas of a possible alliance. At this point, Dan is thinking that he's gaining Jessie's trust. I don't know, Jess. I think you're playing with fire trusting Dan.

A New Alliance? Memphis and Jessie continues to hide their duo alliance. However, Memphis tells Jessie that they will eventually need additional players to help them get to the end: Angie and Michelle. Angie? I would have never thought. But Memphis believes that Angie is a strong player, mentally and physically. So Memphis proposed this potential alliance to Angie, and she didn't say too much about it, but didn't blow off the idea entirely. But I do think that Angie will play her cards wisely to gain a position of power.

Veto Time! As the players get ready for the Veto competition, Keesha expressed that she doesn't want Steven to go home. So will she use the POV on Steven if she wins? I'll tell you this much ... Michelle isn't thrilled about Keesha's bond with Steve-she's actually furious. Regardless, Michelle accuses Keesha of being a floater, and that she can't be trusted and wants her out of the house soon.

The players: Only six players will participate in the Veto competition- the HOH, the two nominees, and three additional players: Michelle, Libra, and Keesha. At this time, Dan is feeling like he may have enough votes to stay in the house come eviction time, as most of the players competing for the POV are on "Team Jessie." Dan says in the diary room, "I need to build a weak persona; risk a lot to gain a lot." See! I told you Dan can't be trusted.

In any event, the players had to unscramble words and form a phrase that was given by the host (Jerry). And of course, the person who unscrambles the most words will win the POV. Jessie is determined to see that Steven does not win the competition, while Dan purposely gets himself eliminated from the game. But wait! Jessie gives the wrong answer and is the second to be eliminated, followed by Steven, leaving Keesha, Libra and Michelle.

But in the end, Michelle won the Golden Power of Veto, giving the "Jessie Alliance" total control over the game (having won the HOH and now the POV).

I forgot to mention that during the competition, the eliminated players (those of the "Jessie Alliance") were whispering to each other about Keesha's attempt to win the POV. Steven took note of this and tells Keesha to be mindful about how she plays the game. But Keesha says that they can all "kiss her ass."

Keesha ‘Gon Mad - After Keesha got a hint that the "Jessie Alliance," particularly Libra, were talking smack about her during the POV competition, she privately spoke with Renny about her frustration. Keesha just wants the troublemaker of the house, Libra, gone!

So Keesha decided to confront everyone in the house about making snide remarks about her during the competition. And yes, things got heated. Libra demanded her to stop generalizing things and specify WHO was making the comments. But Keesha simply puts it, "I wanted to win POV to prove that I'm a strong competitor." But the "Jessie Alliance" doesn't buy it; they think she wants to save Steven from being eliminated.

Speeding things up a bit ... after Keesha's borderline nutty, and Libra's verbal altercation with Renny and Jerry, the plot began to thicken. Keesha tells Jessie and Memphis that Libra is causing problems in the house and is trying to set her up. Jessie and Memphis agrees that Libra has "stirred the pot" in several situations, and is thinking about "back dooring" her. It's getting juicy because, I thought Libra was apart of the "Jessie Alliance." See how fast the game can switch up? BTW, Renny and Jerry were fed up with Libra's comments so decided to beef with her (nothing worth mentioning).  I guess Libra called them "old" during a previous food competition. Blah, blah, blah.

So here's the scenario ... Steven needs to convince Michelle that back dooring Libra is a great plan for the above-mentioned reasons, and Jessie needs to stick with the plan of nominating Libra if Michelle decides to use the POV on Steven. Ultimately, the power lies in Michelle's hands to put this new plan in action. But during the Veto ceremony, Michelle decided NOT to use the POV. And Dan is now convinced that Steven is going home.

Who will be the second houseguest evicted? And who will become the next Head of Household?

Kisses and Competitions,

Nikki
